Karina Milshtein My first google review and I am very surprised of all things, I am writing about my dentist experience but I cant help it! I was truly shocked how pleasant my experience was. My filling injection was pain free, Dr Lamm took the time to make sure the procedure was done perfectly, even when I said it was perfect he didnt agree and managed to improve it. I am normally so nervous to go to the dentist but Dr Lamm has changed that, cant recommend him highly enough - simply the best!

Remi Gordon I hadnt been to the dentist in over four years, and was very nervous to have a check up. As soon as I walked into the office, all the staff were warm, friendly and reassuring. Dr Lamm made me feel comfortable and explained everything that needed to be done. The dental hygienist who performed the clean was also very friendly and thorough. I have to go back in a couple of weeks to have more work done, and am not anywhere near as nervous as I was today. Thank you to Dr Lamm and staff.

Daniel in the Antipodes I have been a patient of Danny Lamm for approximately twenty-eight years. In that time, I have found him to be gifted at his work, reasonably priced and scrupulously honest. For me, he has performed fillings, root canals, crowns, implants, cleans, x-rays and probably other treatments which I have forgotten. I have always been pleased with the quality of his work. He has never recommended unnecessary procedures. Indeed, he has gone out of his way to spare me cost over the years. I find his prices reasonable. He is excellent at pain management. His staff are unfailingly amiable and efficient. On top of all that, he has the very best magazines (thanks, I suspect, to his undoubtedly well dressed wife!) I have ever encountered in a medical clinic. It is worth arriving very early just to have time to read all the magazines. I highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of dentistry.

Andrea Flood Dr Lamm has a family friendly practice. He provides a great service and has an excellent approach with young children on their first and subsequent visits to his clinic. He continues to reassure them if they are nervous and takes a very proactive approach to dental care for children and adults. The practice staff are lovely and always welcoming. Danny is the ultimate professional. The practice location is also serviced well by public transport and there is ample parking if traveling by car.

Rachel I have been seeing Danny Lam for about 3 years and I could not recommend his practice more. I have continued seeing him even after moving out of the area. He is quick, pain free and unfailingly kind and all his staff are equally kind. He never recommends unnecessary procedures and is super reasonably priced. I always leave his practice with a smile on my face, I have never had a negative experience there.

Charlie Carden Having been a patient at MHT for a couple years now, I could not speak more highly of the overall experience. I initially started seeing Matt and now have my regular checkups and cleans with Charlotte and could not recommend them both enough. They are thorough whilst also being efficient and professional. On top of this, the reception staff and dental assistants are also all very welcoming and kind, making the experience of going to the dentist so much nicer! Kudos to you MHT and thank you for your ongoing care!

Colleen Forward I was so impressed with how Matt and his whole team looked after us recently. I took my daughter in for surgery and they were so patient, caring and gentle. Everyone was friendly and so kind. Matt did not rush her and explained everything so well. Highly recommend.

Adam G Those that know me will know that Ive had significant specialist dental treatment over the years. Then, a few years ago I was referred to yet another specialist who prescribed a complex and expensive course of endodontic treatment and surgical management. Luckily, I was referred to Dr Derek Holder for a second opinion and I am so glad of this. Dr Holder has been looking after me ever since and more recently for root canal related issues. I cannot recommend Dr Holder and his team Sophie and Sandra more highly.

Helen Cant recommend highly enough! Dr Derek is so kind and gentle - a truly wonderful family dentist. Hes extremely patient with my lingering dentist-phobia/anxiety and so lovely with both my kids (age 5 and 8). His prices are very reasonable, too. A wonderful local dentist!

Naleeni Gounder Dr Holder is a lovely dentist. He knew I was anxious so he turned on music to calm my nerves and checked in throughout the procedure to make sure I was comfortable. I was also pleasantly surprised his fees were very reasonable. Many thanks Dr Holder see you next time.

Serge K Always amazing service and fantastic results. One of the only places in Melbourne that I seriously highly recommend. The entire dental team here is very friendly, efficient, and attentive. Dr. Derek is very detailed, when discussing your medical situation. He is very professional, welcoming, and courteous. His assistant Olga is very friendly and comforting, and she has a keen eye on every detail too. My mother has been going with them for a complicated process that required replacing of the broken denture that was customised and made many years ago in her native country. She was afraid that it could not be replicated. However, Dr. Derek showed great engineering skills when he designed and added even more flexibility to the new denture and my mother couldn’t be happier with the results! She is smiling and happy again )) Every visit is like visiting friends. We are very grateful to Dr. Derek and Olga for their great services, professionalism, competency, and always valuable advice. I also have to say, that the work that was done on my mother’s denture would have cost way more in any other place. We definitely paid less than fair price for the high-quality service we received in Central Park Dental.

Elinor Bendet Dr Rosenberg and his team are very professional. My needs were very specific and I was advised to see a specialist. My treatment required several sessions and follow ups. Dr Rosenberg takes the responsibility of making sure all treatment is completed up to his high standard level of care and to his clients satisfaction as well. He has excellent communication skills and patience. Same goes for all his team members. I highly recommend him if you are in need for a specialist in his field of periodontics.

As it was my first time visiting The Tooth Doctor, I filled out my form and within five minutes I was sitting in the chair. Jim the dentist quickly put me at ease with his calm and friendly demeanour. The procedure was the smoothest experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. Sara Dr Saloni has placed a crown in my mouth that is several shades lighter than my teeth despite having promised me to match the colour and charged me top dollar for it. Also, for a cleaning appointment, she tried to get more money out of my insurance than the one quoted via email. When confronted, about both her behaviour, had no explanation for either and no resolution. Evidence is available for this through her own emails, also several other quotes I got from other dentists, I decided to go here due to lower fee but she tried to put more through my insurance from her end ?! that is still my money and money I could later use, she claimed later the difference in quote only left me out of pocket a few dollars ?! excuse me? what she put through the insurance was higher than any other dentist would have charged (others who would have done xray as well!). Evidence is available for all this. I have kept the emails. Evidence of this ridiculous tooth colour is also available in my mouth that has made me look ridiculous, made me self conscious about laughing as I have a tooth standing out that is a different colour from the rest. Now over the past 2 weeks in October 2024, I have been spammed by this person to go get dental check ups, despite having made clear I dont wish to go here. These messages should have an opt out option and do not as they are clearly marketing messages since I clearly terminated the patient doctor relationship. I strongly agree with Peters review. I will contact the appropriate agencies for a refund and compensation for all her behaviour. I may have to start with HCC or VCAT.

Kern Kapoor It had been over a year since my last visit to the dentist and was nervous coming in for a checkup and clean (probably because I haven’t been flossing). The checkup was really thorough and Dr Saloni made me feel at ease. Usually you get a talking down from a dentist for not doing this or that, but Dr Saloni was kind and empathetic. And told me some useful and practical strategies that have helped my teeth in better shape (and colour!)

Would highly recommend seeking alternative dental options as this clinic is miles behind in terms of industry expectations. Strongly believe the 5* reviews to be mostly fictional so please ensure you don’t use them as a gauge.

My experience with him was positive from the first greeting by a friendly and very professional receptionist to a very thorough work up to determine a failed root canal and a removal of the tooth that was causing me lots of issues. Ellinor Stewart Due to my issues with deep pockets caused by gingivitis my dentist referred me to the Perio Centre to have a thorough, deep root clean done by one of their reputable hygienists. I certainly could have saved myself the fee charged this time as I went away wondering what just happened- basically next to nothing. I have had this sort of cleaning done before and knew what to expect....however my treatment- or the lack thereof at the appointment left me stunned. Firstly the strength of the injection used could have numbed a horse, my nose was basically deadened as well and it all took over 8 hours to subside. The actual work done did not last longer than 20 minutes and consisted of a bit of scraping- no rotary polishing or anything else whatsoever. I left with my teeth still partially stained. I feel my general dentist would have done a better job by far.

What I don’t like nowadays is that very often when I visit a doctor, I get the impression that I have come to a businessman. The new generation of doctors, to which Dr. Alex certainly belongs, seems completely different to me. Alex was professional, attentive, and explained all his actions and the causes of my problems.
