William If you want the exact opposite of what you ask for this is the perfect place to go. I asked for a mid fade and a bit off the fringe, nothing off the top. The Indian guy gave me possibly the highest fade I’ve ever been given, not even close to a mid fade, and higher than your average high fade. He also began cutting the top of my hair when i said not to, I even told him that i don’t want anything off the top again when he started doing it but he kept on doing it! Explain that to me. Worst part of all is that the haircut wasn’t even remotely even at all. The right side of my hair was cut so far up it started going to the top side of my head. He completely ruined my hair. Guy should be fired. Never coming back here again.

Matt K. I asked the barber how I wanted my hair cut, but he did not listen to my instructions and instead rushed through the haircut. The result was a very bad and unprofessional-looking haircut. I will not be returning to this shop and I do not recommend it to others.

Catalina Valenzuela Second time coming to Pooch Beauty Salon, they are always super friendly, my dog loves coming for a bath and nail trimming. The products they use are of great quality, his fur is shiny and soft and smells amazing. Thank you so much! See you next time :)

Vivian Phan My dog Axel always comes out looking stunning after a visit to the Pooch Beauty Salon. They take such good care of his double coat. Its always so soft and shiny after theyre done with it He is always super happy to be dropped off to them which for a dog mum is such a reassuring sign.

Les Cheveux En Vogue Worst grooming experience in 16 years!! Extremely disappointed with the grooming service here. My dog was returned with her coat cut far too short — her skin is now exposed, which is very uncomfortable for her. Even worse, her head and face were left untouched and still dirty. When I raised my concerns, I was told my dog wouldn’t sit still. This is simply not true — she’s been groomed regularly for 16 years by various professionals and has never been a problem. This was the first time I’ve ever encountered such poor handling and lack of care. I expected professional grooming and attention to detail, but this experience fell far below that. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place to others. Very disappointed after trusting them with my dog — I expected better. Sadly, I cannot recommend this groomer based on my experience. This was an upsetting experience, and I would urge others to think twice before booking here. One star is too generous — if I could leave zero or below, I would.

Sarah Spencer After having an incidental break from grooming my male Samoyed who is 50 kilos!!!! (Very hard to find a groomer who wants a giant breed). I booked in with Bree at the Altona North Salon. She instantly made both myself and my dog, Ashem, so happy that we had booked in. Ashem was with Bree for 3.5 hours and she de shedded him, washed him, and rid him of every knot that I didn’t think was possible. I am forever so grateful for Bree and the Altona North groomers for their kind treatment and going above and beyond for Ashem. He is like a new dog - full of life again! Consistent grooming will be booked in from now on. Can’t recommend them enough.

Blue 25 Had my hair done by Tina and she did such an amazing job, not to mention that she is absolutely lovely and a great conversationalist. I have a year 12 formal and the curls looked so amazing. Thank you so much Tina, I highly recommend Barber Dollz. Lovely people x

Han L Took my daughter in for a trim and to thin out her hair. The hairdresser used clippers to cut her hair, took about 4-5cms off and this was the end result. I clearly pointed out the issues to not only the woman cutting her hair but another hairdresser, but they just told me it’s “blended.” I ended up leaving and needing to have her hair fixed elsewhere.

Dee Ceas Got such a bad men’s fade. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed, never had to do this in my life. When I raised an issue I got told that’s how it should be. Meanwhile the guy next to me get a perfectly good haircut. Luck of the draw at this place. Sadly I got the butcher and not a barber that day

William Kilby The guys at barber dollz are super friendly and are quick with their haircuts. Super cheap for a good quality haircut. I know they also have many hairdresser who specialise in women’s haircuts as well. Many are well experienced from what I’ve seen.
