connie Ive used this clinic since coming to Au 10 years ago when I lived on this side of Melbourne. Was recommended by family. Always great people and care. Recently however it was a different experience. I need two crowns and some fillings and was going to use part of my Super to pay for it as currently recovering from a medical issue. Booked an appointment and clearly stated my intention, paid over a hundred $ for the quote. Was told I had the wrong paperwork so left and brought back same paperwork ( after checking it was correct), driving from Sunshine. Was told theyd call when ready to pick up. After about a week called back and not ready yet. Days later I get message that owner needs to look at the paperwork first. One receptionist said the Dr. didnt want to sign it. No call back. I finally make the drive again and ask....this is days later, now about 2 weeks of waiting. Receptionist said I should have gotten a call that owner needed to look into it. Its now 18 days later and no call back. I have no idea what is going on. Ive called other practices and they are familiar with this and no big deal. Cant believe the owner never called me back. Poorly run!!!! Now I have to pay for another quote and waste more time.

Angie Thank you to Justin and Gianni, they are both very professional and kind. My mum came here to removed all her bottom teeth and got the denture, we are very happy with their efficiency, professionalism and accountability, which we are really appreciated and feel that they are trustworthy. They are both very nice as well, while my mum doesn’t speak much English and I needed to interpret for her, Justin and Gianni were very patient. I will definitely recommend them to my friends!

Scott Lacey Please be careful here. I went to this dentist with moulds that were provided at the end of my Invisalign treatment from the US as a retainer. Over the phone the staff told me they would simply scan my moulds and provide a replacement. I handed over the moulds to the dentist (Jack) and shortly after he left the room with them he came back and said they have been broken, we need to do new moulds here. There was no conversation that the moulds breaking was a risk. It was clear then that this was the dentists intention all along, bill for an additional service. With my moulds now broken I had no option but to let new moulds be made, I was told they would be the same quality as my Invisalign retainer. Whilst jack was on his phone, deeply distracted by god knows a lovely, competent nurse did my impressions and led me to reception for payment. I paid the $800 I was charged for one new replacement retainer. I was phoned two days later to collect. The retainer was left at reception for me to collect and leave. I got home cleaned them and attempted to fit the retainer, the retainer cut my gums and was formed from an extremely thin plastic, nothing like my previous Invisalign retainer. I returned to the dentist to have the sharp Mal-formed edges shaved off the retainer so that it would no long cut my gums. Jack assisted reluctantly, clearly annoyed that this was not billable. I got home and placed the retainer in my mouth, the bottom one broke instantly I called the dentist back but Jack was not available. The following day the top plate broke. (See pictures). Obviously, this is only my experience, I’m sure there are probably amazing dentists at this clinic. I personally felt ignored and ripped off.

Natasha Kikidis I recently visited hobsons bay dental for a check-up and clean, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcomed and at ease.
The clinic itself is pristine, with modern and state of the art equipment, which instantly put me at ease knowing I was in good hands.
My dentist, was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me in detail, ensuring I fully understood my treatment options and payment details. They were also very gentle during the examination, which I greatly appreciated.
What truly set this clinic apart was the level of care and attention to detail they provided. From the thorough examination to the personalised treatment plan tailored to my needs, I felt like my oral health was in the best possible hands.
Overall, I couldnt be happier with my experience at hobsons bay dental. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of dental care. Thank you to the entire team for providing such outstanding service!
