X in Cindy Have been visited Dr Chen for couple of years. Very gentle, humorous and professional dentist who can suit your needs for a smiling face. To be concise, Chen is young but he is very patient and he has explained the whole process of the braces in detail before I firstly put it on. Highly recommended Chen for everyone who has teeth issues.

I’ve been getting regular check-ups at Box Hill South Dental over the last 3 years, and have had great experiences with all the staff I’ve interacted with. My current dentist, Dr Bojana Aboud, is very genuine, welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable so I have always felt safe and comfortable in her care - which speaks wonders as I’d normally be quite nervous with past dentists. Would recommend this place to other students in the area.

Dr Bojana is so warm and a wonderful communicator- ensuring that you’re aware of what’s happening when you’re in the chair, and constantly giving reassurance and providing comfort measures and breaks. Provided very realistic advice for follow-up care, and made me feel in no way guilty about my dental hygiene and eating habits. I hadn’t been to a dentist in YEARS and was quite nervous to go. Miranda Li They only have one dentist available at any given day and if the dentist is unwell, your appointment will be canceled regardless if it’s urgent, important or time critical. The business has no backup plan. During my recent visits, those cancellation/reschedule happened 2/4. The other aspects of the clinic are great, the dentists are professional and friendly, receptionist is proactive in communication. Hence, I would recommend the clinic if your schedule is flexible enough to adapt changes easily. Unfortunately this is not the case to me.

Andy Brown I had a dental implant which has gone horribly wrong due to poor installation by the dentist. My recommendation is to think carefully about saving a few thousand dollars and to go to a practice specialising in implants. Instead of drilling the hole for the implant perpendicular with the jaw this dentist drilled at such an angle it actually perforated the jaw. Instead of the forces going straight through the implant they acted to peel the implement like a banana and the implant split and failed after only 6 years. I have just had surgery to remove the implant which took 2 hours and involved drilling the bone around the implant. Total cost just to remove the implant and have a bone graft to fill the hole was $2000 and now I am back to square one with a missing tooth and total spend to date close to $7000 plus the time and pain of surgery. It is now going to take another $7000 and another year with a missing tooth to have the implant re-done correctly.
