The Fragment Collector Contemporary Art Delight in Melbourne. Visiting JAHM is always a pleasure. The house itself is a beautiful work of art, changing significantly from time to time to make the experience even more interesting. The events and talks are great opportunities to learn more from collectors, artists, architects and art lovers. Leah and Charles Justin are amazing hosters that kindly share with the public their home, collection, culture, and knowledge. If you love to learn about art, design, and architecture, you will be delighted by this fantastic Art House Museum.

Lynne Pryor Our first time in a private art house, and what a marvellous experience. Art, architecture or design enthusiasts, or those who are curious and looking for an experience different to a public gallery, will enjoy this fascinating private gallery museum. Owners Leah and Charles are warm hosts with evident passion and great knowledge about art and architecture. Their talks were informative, enlightening and very engaging. Previously I had limited interest in abstract art, but our visit has changed my view; there were so many exciting works on display, and in a beautiful and intimate setting. Delicious refreshments were included. Exhibitions change here so I expect to return again and again. Highly recommended.

Charla Smith I visited JAHM recently for the Art & Gender exhibition and discussion. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience which I found stimulating and thought provoking. I also loved the opportunity to experience the artworks in the owners’ private apartment where we all shared delicious refreshments and further chatted about the exhibition. Charles and Leah Justin are great hosts and I highly recommend a visit.

Brittany C Such a good spot to sit with a coffee. Its the locals doggy spot, so great dog watching and fill the soul with fun and dogs if you dont have dogs but can live vicariously through others

Alfie Shahrin Sitting on a bench, especially on a Saturday morning, watching groups of dogs running and playing feels like a glimpse of heaven. This dog-friendly park is also a fantastic spot for readers to relax with their Kindle or a good book. Highly recommended for both dog lovers and bookworms!

Vilma Alfaro The garden is a vibrant tapestry of colors and textures. Tall trees offer a welcome respite from the sun, creating dappled shade on the ground below. A gentle breeze carries the sweet fragrance of blossoms throughout the air. The carefully tended flowerbeds are a delight to behold. Its a truly peaceful and inviting space.

Nellerichal Sreeju A great little community park with round table style settings !!! It is great they do some cool events like the Sunset fest. So many beautiful old trees and amenities like toilets. They are gated but not sure that they get locked after a certain time.

Deano.C._ A nice green park with constant foot traffic and used by dog walkers. The southern side towards the Phraran train is a trendy area popular with photography as it includes a water feature, coloured seats, hanging light instalment, glazed bricks and a range of plants. The centre of the park is quite open with two barbecue plates and tables and chairs. The northern area has a rotunda, two separate playgrounds with slides, swings and climbing areas and a outdoor gym has also recently been installed. Large mature trees create lots of well shaded areas as well as a large open area allowing plenty of sunlight.

Anita Harris What an adorable little park. Not for walkers, but still a lovely little oasis, pretty gazebo, small playground and a few interesting features including some hanging lights up one end. Wander through.

Ian W NICE STRIP OF TREES AND GREENERY IN BUSY PRAHRAN The gardens are a good spot to sit (at one of the many chairs and tables) and have a coffee / lunch. The park borders the Grenville St "village" with lots of eateries nearby :)

Ashlee Jayde Grattan Gardens is absolutely gorgeous and such a versatile space! We attended a Fringe Festival event here, and it had a lovely garden party vibe, complete with a cute bar setup. Beyond the festival area, the gardens extend with plenty of open space, perfect for relaxing or exploring. Despite the rainy and gloomy weather, the lights and pops of color really brought the area to life. Located in the heart of bustling Prahran, it’s surrounded by a vibrant scene with nearby cafes and restaurants, making it easy to grab a bite and then unwind in the park. If you’re visiting during the Fringe Festival, this location is a fantastic choice. There’s a circus tent set up with various performances, from Granny Bingo (which we saw) to circus acrobatics. I love that Parks Victoria supports local talent and art, and the space they create here is wonderful. There’s plenty of heating outside the tent on cooler nights, though it can feel a bit chilly inside until everyone’s settled in. Definitely check out this spot, not only for the beautiful park but also for the work they’re doing to bring Melbourne’s art scene to life!
