Zander Lab Beautiful and free. Worth a drive west of Melbourne. Right next to Werribee mansion and zoo but as parking is separate, there is plenty of spaces. The variety of roses is amazing. So much in bloom regardless of spring, summer or autumn. Peak of summer and the fragrance is fresh and delicate. Photo opportunities at every angle, or sit peacefully amongst the stylish and orderly plants.

SagaR Roy The beach surrounding area is pretty nice. The adjacent park has a few bbqs, play area and the sitting area is pretty nice too. The jetty is a small one and the adjacent beach is a little dirty but once you go further, the beach is decent.

Jawad Arain This is the point where Werribee River falls into port Philip bay. Its a very nice place to walk on a nice trail along the sea, you can reach via Diggers road, a very nice road only 18 minutes from Werribee. I would appreciate the council to maintain this place with a lot of fun activities for kids and bbq areas. This is the starting point to Werribee south and east beach. There is a caravan park next to this place if you want to live overnight and the best thing is that you can catch a 439 bus public transport to reach here.

Karen Edwards Loved the safari bus at Werribee Zoo. Easy to get on, great view of the animals. Boarding was easy as they have multiple places to board. Bit bumpy, but not too bad. Forty minute trip and loved every minute. Commentary was well informed and fun. Would definitely do it again

Jess Q Great for all ages. The safari ride is always a favourite of ours. Always manages to impress. Lots of up close encounters with the animals. Dress warm as it can be cool and windy once youre out in the open. **No food or drink on the safari tour

Tsukamoto Ken K Kids are Free to enter which is amazing. Tickets cost only around $30-$40 per adults. I went with my wife and 3 x kids, total tickets costed me only $60 for 5 people ,entire family members with concession card. There is no covid restriction, the zoo is totally back to pre-covid, I Personaly felt it became much better than before. If you enter after 2pm, just joyn the Safari tour fitst otherwise you may miss it although the last departure is 3:30.

Michael King I will share pictures. I think they speak for themselves. Beautiful sprawling gardens. Small woodlands inhabited by flying foxes, pheasants, ducks, rabbits and other creatures. The land is massive and filled with historical areas. From a large mansion, accessible with a small fee, to a small sun dial and even further to a beautiful lake. I highly recommend it.

Kara Murray One of our favourite places to visit! We use our memberships to visit regularly and are never disappointed. The new Elephant Trail is nothing short of amazing. It’s a great enclosure for the elephants and it really well thought out and designed for the public, too. It does require a little bit of walking but definitely is worth it. Zoo volunteers are friendly and very knowledgeable. Safari bus was awesome. Lots of fun and educational items to buy at the gift shop. Lots of ways to get involved in animal conservation and protecting their habitat.

David Dukic 2nd time here. Other time was 7 to 8 years ago if I remember correctly. Very well maintained gardens and lawn areas. Plenty of areas to sit and cafes/ food places. A little pricey but thats OK. Great staff that were happy to help. I recommend booking your services here. If you go on a public holiday be prepared to wait in long lines. I went on good Friday and it was very busy. I pre booked my tickets and deluxe safari tour so I barely waited. The ones who didnt were lined up for a long time. Parking was not great due to the high volume of people and it was very dusty but hey, not much rain lately in Melbourne. Overall a good experience

Martin G Revisiting the elephant trail; first visit back since the opening in March. The herd has settled in and the three youngsters are making the most of their new home. Just visited to see the elephants on this occasion. Very popular enclosure. A bit of a walk from the zoo entrance but there is assistance for those with mobility issues. The volunteers and keepers are full of info on their charges, and on this occasion, enticed the herd with food, so that everyone could see the elephants close up. The crowds do not seem to bother the animals at all. The three young elephants were making the most of the pool and a mud wallow and seemed to be living an idyllic stress free life. Great work in the planning of this huge enclosure for the elephants. Great visit.

Michael Marchese We had a fantastic time; the safari was great. We saw lions, hippos, camels, and lots more, and now the elephants have arrived—it looks spectacular. Unfortunately, we couldnt do all of the new elephant trail; its really big. We will come back. So we loved every minute of it. You can buy food and coffee at the elephant trail and sit and have a picnic and watch them. Truly amazing. Im coming back soon with family to do a whole day, just the elephant trail. Im a member so I didnt have to wait. I suggest getting there early. If you dont have tickets.

Freya Mac Nice walk along meandering paths, down some steps to the river. Also takes you to the orchard, original ruins then up stairs to the historic farm.

Piete de Jong Werribee Park is very peaceful. however, most of the sculptures have been removed. I could only spot 4 that remain. It is a big shame that the sculptures were not properly maintained because back in the day (some 16+ years ago) this was a highlight of Werribee Park.

Elaine Evans Lovely family get together, have not seen each other for 6 months, so nice to catch up with Aunties, neices and nephews. It was a great day for all, lovely weather and good company
