Claudia Webster Came here to fix a botched haircut that I’d spent a few months growing out and I am sooooo glad I did!! Big thank you to Vincent for the incredible haircut! He gave a great consultation, made me feel very heard and walked me through the process to made sure I was loving everything before we got started. My hair turned out even better than I could’ve imagined!! It was really nice to watch him work, you can tell he cares so much about what he’s doing. Definitely coming back!!

The nicest people and the best service!! Their quality is amazing and I have never had nails that have lasted longer than when I’ve had them done at Mitty’s! The fact that they’re vegan and cruelty free is absolutely amazing!!!

marlo So so so pleased with the outcome of my nails and lashes! I was especially impressed with the results of the lash lift and tint, honestly some of the best results I’ve ever gotten! Nanor is so skilled and she was super helpful and informative throughout the whole process. She suggested which options would be best for me and knew exactly what style I was after. Adriana Rose Giuliani Just got a pedicure from this nail salon. Waited an hour and 10 mins after they told me it would be 20 minutes. The most rushed job and my nails look terrible. I could have done a better job myself. So disappointed I have to attend a function today with these nails and of course- I had to pay for it. Terrible! Will not return.

Photoshop Tutor I feel bad giving a low star rating but my big toe nails were cut so short they both bled. I took my daughter here for her 9th birthday and we both had a pedi and manicure, Was a really fun thing to do she had a great time but when I got home I spoke to my wife and said how expensive it was and she said you didnt get shellac did you thats permanent! We didnt need that and didnt realise thats what we were getting, we just wanted a manicure and pedicure and chose the colours, not many dads need it to be permanent guys and i thought it was torture cutting my nails that short and yeah they are bleeding this morning!

Anna Levy Went in with a friend for manicures and were asked to come back in 30 minutes. We did, but then waited another 45 minutes, with the staff constantly saying it would be another 5 minutes. When we finally were seated, the woman infilling my acrylics cut me several times on the cuticles, making me bleed. The manicure was pretty but has chipped on both thumbs two days later, which I have never had with an acrylic manicure before. Very disappointing.

K Visited for the first time recently after being unhappy with my previous colour and cannot speak highly enough of the experience. Felt very reassured after my chat with Anna, who listened and understood exactly what I was after and provided really great advice on treatment and products. The chairs are also actually comfortable at Hoopla which is an added bonus! Can’t wait to return and so glad I no longer have yellow hair! Thank you so much and looking forward to my next appt here. They took an extraordinary level of care, patience, and warmth throughout the process of coaxing my hair back to a reasonable state, while providing a safe space where I felt comfortable expressing my needs. I left the salon feeling physically better but also emotionally lighter, as a true weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Im immensely grateful for their exceptional service and the genuine kindness the entire team extended to me during my appointment, and a special thanks to Bradley and Nicky for their compassionate work.

Jessica Powley Came to Hoopla for the first time about 6 weeks ago, Persia was my stylist and it was easily the best experience I have ever had getting my hair done, she listened, was creative and caring and I feel like she really easily understood me and my vision for my hair. The cut was perfection and has suited my hair perfectly both on the day and as it has continued to grow, she nailed it and I have had so many comments. Cant wait to come back! Kate Shuttleworth The person that did my nails is usually excellent. Today she had 8-9 people all seated waiting for her to do their nails. There’s no way one person can adequately service all these people alone. I think management/the owners are being incredibly unreasonable here expecting one person to be able to cope. This is minimum a two person job, probably a three person job on busy days like the lead in to Christmas. From the time I sat down I was there for over two hours and I left with a rushed job, not great quality nails and red SNS polish residue on my skin that couldn’t be washed off. This business needs to treat their staff and their customers better.

lmore081 This is my second time at this nail salon.i had been there previously and was so happy with their work that I was going to make this my regular nail salon. Today, I went in for shellac pedicure and manicure. I was the only one in the salon and the girl refused to speak. Would only point as a means of communication. Due to her haste, i had to tell her multiple times to be more careful cutting my cuticles as i was afraid she would cut my skin.In addition, to this she charged an extra five dollars to remove the nail polish, I had done by them last month. Also charged me $85 when there is a clear sign in the window that says shellac manicure and pedicure for $75 If this is the type of service they offer, it is no wonder they are always empty. Honestly, I would prefer to go to somewhere more expensive then return here. Avoid at all cost

Negar Asadzadeh All star is near to my place which is a bonus for me. I was there a couple of times for waxing which was a good experience. She was super fast at her job which I like it so much. This time I popped over for the sns and that was my first experience of Sns in all start, I can say I’m really satisfied with the result. Not only super fast at her job, but also so careful and paying attention to the shape of nails. They also offer a wide range of sns, shellac and nail polishes. The price is also reasonable. Thanks guys for ur great customer service. Keep it up.

Anna De Bortoli Reading through these reviews I feel like I got off easy but still would avoid going here. I have a wedding today and went in to get shellac done, I have been here before and they did a pretty good job from what I remember (not amazing but serviceable + shellac is pretty forgiving and I’m not super fussy about my nails) but when I went in today, my cuticles weren’t touched at all which made my already short nails look super stumpy. I had to point out to the tech portions of my nails which were missed entirely (the second photo shows a bit I didn’t notice either). She did break out the cuticle scissors after my nails were painted to remove a bit of skin on the side of a nail and I got to say it didn’t look like it had been properly sterilised. The tech was nice but her English wasn’t great and I didn’t want to make her feel bad and wasn’t sure if we would be able to reach a resolution if I did complain so I paid my $30 dollars and left because I have a wedding to get ready for. I’ll probably try to book in at my regular spot to get it fixed. If you have a chance to book a place ahead I wouldn’t go here. They seem to get a lot of walk-ins just based on location so I don’t feel to bad about the one star. I’m sure some techs are better than others and again my tech was nice, but probably needs more training.

Taylah Genuinely wish I never went to this place. Was waiting for my flight home to Sydney that was delayed so I thought Id get my nails done and they made me bleed many times, and my nails had so much glue and acrylic residue on them when they were done. - my finger tips also started swelling up with liquid and they became so sensitive to the touch and theyve been dry and started cracking/peeling, they have never fully healed from this. Ive had to go on antibiotics and use serious hand creams after this experience. *Edit* : its been a year and a half and my nails/hands have finally recovered from the trauma this place put on me. I had never had any issues with acrylic nails till that one time, and afterwards only used gel extensions so that I had some strength on my nails while they were paper thin and bleeding frequently. Do not, for the life of you, ever go here. *These photos attached are the aftermath of my healing from initial trauma :) x

Hailey Oh yikes they cut my real nails without even asking and claimed that those were tips. i never do tips. i said and the owner goes on yelling and tried to "teach" me that those were tips. its amazing that she cant even recognise what is what. no apologies and awful services. go here if you want to ruin ur day and nails!

n brx Two days after pedicure the shellac peeled off. Cut my toe while doing the cuticles. This place is best avoided.

Tal Avisahal DONT GO Went there to get acrylics , I’ve came with a reference picture and asked if they can do the design, they said yes even tho the obviously couldn’t ! The nails aren’t even and lumpy! I had to go and get them fixed right after I left there. Waste of money and bad service.! Worst set I’ve ever gotten The pictures are right after I left the salon
