Tim Stokes I had the pleasure of visiting Lennox St Gallery recently to an opening night for two showcasing artists and I must say that it left a lasting impression on me. The gallery is an absolute gem, offering a delightful blend of modern and contemporary art. The space itself is thoughtfully designed, exuding a sense of professionalism and cleanliness that is truly commendable. What sets Lennox St Gallery apart is not just its remarkable art collection, but also the exceptional atmosphere created by its Gallery Director, Dr. Eugene Barilo von Reisberg. His dedication to inspiring both the artists and visitors is evident in every corner of the gallery. Walking through the doors, I was instantly greeted by a warm and welcoming ambiance that makes you feel right at home amidst the art. For anyone with an appreciation for art, Lennox St Gallery is a must-visit. Whether youre an art enthusiast or simply looking to explore a space that celebrates creativity, this gallery has it all. From the captivating artworks on display to the genuine passion of Dr. Eugene, the experience is nothing short of inspiring. I highly recommend paying a visit to Lennox St Gallery – a place where art truly comes alive.

Marnie Aram This place offers high-quality gin and delicious food. We had a fantastic time and truly enjoyed the atmosphere. It deserves to be much busier than it is — far better than a few of the beer bars just up the road. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back!

Amberley B We got married at Brogans Way Distillery back in October and it was the best decision we made! Oliver was an absolute legend who made the planning so easy and stress free! The drinks were incredible and all of the staff were so friendly. We still get compliments from our guests about the venue, gin and staff to this day! We honestly could not recommend this incredible venue enough! Thanks again to Oliver and his amazing staff for making our day extra special!

Robert Hockley First time here and it was amazing! The space is beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were phenomenal and the service astounding. Valerie and Toby are wonderful, knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Valerie made my wife and I delicious cocktails and mocktails, and we played Scrabble under the heaters. 10/10, definitely coming back.

Myra Hockley My husband and I came to this little distillery in Richmond because we saw they had board games and discovered a hidden gem of a venue. The two staff on shift made us delicious drinks and food as we sat under a heater, listening to music from the 70s and 80s, playing Scrabble to our hearts content. Valerie made us some amazing drinks and Toby fed us well with some flatbread pizzas. Well worth the trip, coming back soon.

Hammad Parwaiz An incredible stadium with great atmosphere. We visit most weeks for sporting events. Easy access via public transport- 75/48/70 trams and metro. Make sure to download your tickets to your phone wallet for quick entry. Lots of food and coffee outlets. MCG store is worth a visit. Sports museum tour is on my list of things to do. Prayer room located basement level M13

Clairen Cook Absolutely massive. The atmosphere during a football match was electric, with only 55000 people (about half of capacity I believe). Entry was well organized and we did not have to que long. The accessible entrance looked very nice. A good experience overall.

Partha Mishra I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend a Big Bash League (BBL) match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and it was an absolutely electric experience. The atmosphere was absolutely vibrant – the energy was contagious! The crowd was incredibly engaged, with people raising their hands in unison to create massive waves that swept through the stands. It was a truly unique and exhilarating sight. The seating was comfortable and offered excellent views of the pitch. I was impressed by how clean the stadium was, considering the large crowds. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the entire experience very enjoyable. Overall, my visit to the MCG was unforgettable. Its a truly iconic venue that I would highly recommend to any sports fan visiting Melbourne.

Liz I am visiting Melbourne. I went to Mass in this beautiful Church last Sunday 10 November. It was a beautiful service. The parishioners including the nuns were very welcoming. Thank you

Mark Jonathan Never in my life did I imagine writing a review like this for a church—a place that should embody compassion, understanding, and acceptance. Unfortunately, what I thought would be a safe and sacred space turned into a deeply disappointing experience. My partner and I, both raised Catholic, were excited to seek a blessing from the church as we prepare for our civil marriage. We chose this particular church because of its beauty and significance to us, having attended Mass there in the past. It felt like the right place to mark this meaningful step in our lives. When I reached out to the church office and spoke with Lauraine, I was hoping for guidance. Instead, I was met with dismissal and judgment. The moment I mentioned our civil marriage, she told me we were unwelcome. She insinuated that my lack of knowledge about Catholic teachings was offensive and even suggested I get baptized again to “properly educate myself” before I could be considered for a blessing. I was speechless. As I tried to process her words, she abruptly tried to end the conversation, claiming she was too busy. When I mustered the courage to ask for alternative options, she coldly advised me to “do my research online” before calling back. This experience left me shaken and deeply disheartened. My partner and I were so excited to celebrate our union with a blessing, but instead, I was made to feel unworthy and ashamed. Breaking this news to my partner was devastating, and it’s something I’ll never forget. I write this not out of anger but out of sorrow. As Catholics, we are taught that the Church is a place of refuge, love, and guidance. This encounter was the opposite. I hope that by sharing my experience, this church will reflect on how it treats those seeking its blessings and strive to embody the values of kindness and inclusion that Christ himself taught.

Carlos Oraison Today my wife and I visited St Ignatius to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary where we were married. We were welcomed by Fr Eka Tanaya, sister Yolanda and other sisters. We received a beautiful kind blessing. This was the highlight and most memorable part of our day. Thank you

Natalie Ferguson We had our wedding at St Ignatius church in Richmond on the 6th March 2021. It was everything that we had dreamed. The church is absolutely beautiful and took the breath away from all of our guests. As we exited the church they rang the bells and it was wonderful. The only issue is that in order to accomodate demand they have weddings one after the other with only a 90 minute gap, so our suppliers were not able to get into the church into 20 minutes before our ceremony started. But even so everything still ran to time so not a big issue. Great post-ceremony photo locations.

MazCal Beautiful park situated in Richmond just behind Swan St… Perfect for spending time in nature, walking the dog, playing with the kids, sitting, exercising, enjoying the trees & scenery, it’s just beautiful. Also has plenty of parking around it, just a short walk to the Main Street & quiet enough to enjoy its serenity!

M L Beautiful old garden in the heart of Richmond. Close to East Richmond Railway Station and Swan St. Theres also a playground and public toilets on site.

Andrew Watkins Less unsupervised dogs running thru childrens play areas would make this an awesome local gem. You cannot safely play ball with your kids as unsupervised dogs chase your ball & in our case bit one of our kids trying to get the ball. Owners couldnt care less. Total disgrace.

Indika Athukorala "Extremely Disappointing Experience at Christmas Under the Big Top Circus!" My family and I decided to give Christmas Under the Big Top circus a chance, but it turned out to be a complete letdown. The gates opened at 6pm, and we were left wandering around the Christmas decorations for a whole hour before the show finally started at 7:05pm. The show itself was underwhelming. It consisted of some basic dance segments, followed by just two acrobatic shows and a motorbike performance. Thats it. The entire show finished abruptly at 7:45pm, leaving us feeling cheated and unsatisfied. For the hefty price of $36 per ticket, it was definitely not worth it. I would strongly advise against attending this circus. The lack of content and entertainment value is simply not worth the money. Save yourself the disappointment and find a better way to spend your evening during the holiday season. Christmas Under the Big Top is definitely not recommended."

Duane Taylor Beautiful park with lots of green open space. Dog friendly and off leash area.

Aaron Soroka Good size park as has a playground for kids, basketball court, football oval and cricket pitch. Large public toilets, undercover eating and seating options. Off leash dog area and both paved and dirt walking tracks with some local bushland too

Dom Tupu This double tent, food truck and gated arrival area is amazing. Ive been now to 2 gigs here. I just dont think its justified to sell something as useless as seltzer, a 250 ml can for $13.00 a pop. The Smirnoff selection is abysmal...also...im really intrigued qbout the low levels of sound there is in these tents but how low the decibel readings are for the bands playing. I feel like someone needs to get some premium brands in here because otherwise this venue is a waste of space!

Andrew Watkins We want kids off screens and encourage them to play sport. But when they run or fall into dog turds, or roll an ankle or cop a cricket ball ricocheted off a dog dug hole ... just goes to show what the average dog owner thinks of the rest of the community.

Philip Hodges This was our 15th Anniversary March for Forgotten Australians. Richmond Police did a fantastic job in ensuring we were safe on the road. Had great music, talks and food ice-cream. So well done to the organisers.

Leah Cole A great enclosed dog park. Harry always has a ball. The oval is fenced with gates that bolt shut. There is a children playground for the little ones too. Just keep in mind the ground is not always accessible during sports training/games (cricket during summer and footy in the winter)
