Asher Thong Despite some of the bad reviews, I absolutely love my go-to gym at Fitness First Flinders! I’ve been training here for quite some time — usually around four times a week — and it’s honestly one of the best gyms I’ve been to in Melbourne.
The reception team is always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, whether it’s checking you in or answering questions. I really appreciate how well they communicate opening hours and public holiday updates — super convenient for regular members.
The gym itself is spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The machines are in great condition, and there’s a wide range of equipment for both strength and cardio training. The atmosphere is motivating but relaxed — you get a mix of serious gym-goers and friendly regulars, which makes the vibe feel really comfortable.
The location right in the city is also a big plus, and I love that it opens early and closes late — perfect for fitting in a session before or after work. Overall, a fantastic place to train consistently with great staff, great energy, and excellent facilities. Highly recommend!
