I was previously a member of this gym but canceled my membership and joined Watermac for access to a swimming pool. After some time, I decided to return to Mony Gym and tried calling several times, but no one answered. Eventually, I went in person and used the gym for one session.
I later explained to the staff that I would officially return in a month due to the one-month notice period required at Watermac. Despite this, they charged me again. When I went to discuss the issue and ask for the money to be held or refunded, the owner treated me very rudely and disrespectfully — and did so in front of other people at the gym.
He accused me of trying to sneak in, which is completely unfair. If I had intended to sneak in, I would have come multiple times, not just once.
More importantly, I witnessed and personally experienced extremely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior, especially toward women. This kind of conduct is unacceptable in any environment, let alone a place of health and community like a gym.
Due to this experience, I no longer feel comfortable or welcome at this gym, and I would not recommend it to others.
