Christine Hilton Cooke I joined Carla Gilder Fitness 18 months ago on the recommendation of a friend and I can categorically say it has changed my life for the better.
I never thought I would be partaking in 1 exercise class a week let alone 5 in my 60s! The classes are so beneficial and so enjoyable. The Trainers encourage improvement but you dont feel pressurised and your fitness just builds up naturally week on week. A big shout out to Carla, Fran, Kim, Shelley and Louise who make fitness fun.
I feel so much better mentally, fitter and more flexible. The CGF family/community are just so welcoming/encouraging and I have met such great people.
When I first joined I thought I was reasonably fit as I run 5K twice a week with warm up stretching exercises beforehand. However when I started classes I was shocked to discover that I could no longer do sit ups which, thanks to CGF I can. Definitely a case of if you dont use it you lose it. I can also vouch that Couch to 5k courses really do work.Thanks to CGF I will be fit for life.
