Village Pilates - VIC

A P This is by far the best studio with the highest trained instructors of all the pilates studios Ive tried in both Oz and the USA (and Ive trained in pilates from different course providers so I have an idea on what to look for in quality - but I am not an instructor, just loved learning). They are also incredibly lovely people and enjoy what they do - so the environment is welcoming and friendly. At other studios, I often get to the point where I feel Im stronger than what the instructor is ready to accomodate in the group class. At Village Pilates, they are challenging classes (still allowing for all abilities and levels) but I know Im being pushed to go deeper and gain strength, balance and agility - if Im in the mood for it. Also, Im 5mo. pregnant and they are SO welcoming to me to continue to be in their classes (Reformer, Mat and Barre classes as well as their smaller group classes). They work with me to adjust with moves that are not easy or good to do while pregs. Shout out especially to Lisa, Emily and Hannah!! I am so thankful for this studio to be accepting of me throughout this pregnancy - as Im feeling stronger and more confident with each day closer to birth. I was nervous I would be a burden with needing too many adjustments but they make me feel at ease and confident in the class to do what I can and be part of the group. Thank you team - youre legends!!
