5 /5 Barb Webb-Self: I have been a member of CME fit for approx. 9 years, it is my happy place even though some people ask how can you be happy exercising, well I for one can tell you the feel good feeling that comes with exercise is addictive. I had been an avid gym goer in my 20/30s then due to several non gym related injuries had stopped. When I recommenced in my late 40s at my sons recommendation due to knee damage playing tennis, it was a game changer for me. I lost 20kg and loved every day I was in the gym, which then was 7 days a week. I love nothing more than working up a good sweat on the treadmill, bike or rowing machine or weight training to keep things toned. Over the last few years has seen this local family owned business transform and update machines, introduce new services, add heating in the main gym area, change the purple room into a dance fitness room, rent out the middle room to a Martial Arts Centre, there are specific power lifting, spin bike, boxing, group fitness classes and leg rooms in addition to the main gym floor and during covid lockdowns and continuing with aesthetically improving the appearance of the gym. Most recently adding private rooms for Pilates, massage and reiki. Mostly what I love about CME is everyone is made to feel comfortable, they are an all inclusive gym that welcomes young, old, middle aged, disabled, body builders and even the international tennis players when the big tournament is on over the road at Traralgon Tennis Club every January. Some people will say, Barb is getting a kick back for this review, its to detailed! I can assure you that is so far from the truth. I just love going to the gym and wanted to give this local family business a big shout out as, as I said it is my happy place. PS my husband who had never spent 1 second in a gym in his whole 56 years of life, is now joined up and loving it to :)
