Claire Miller My exercise classes with OzSquad have been a highlight of living in Manly these last few years and one of the things Ill miss most now Ive moved back home to Melbourne. Great workouts on the beach at dawn, great company and chats as we all sweated and puffed our way through. Special shoutout to the wonderful and irrepressible Lindsey who took such care to help me regain my fitness after cancer treatment.

Good Vibes Yoga - VIC

Queen Bee I’m so grateful to have found Good Vibes Yoga! A friend recommended it in February, and it has truly been life-changing. After just a month of Vinyasa flow, my health has improved dramatically. This space has also become my much-needed escape. I’ve attended Ash and Ryan’s classes mostly, they’re both incredible teachers who make yoga accessible and rewarding. The welcoming, supportive atmosphere makes every visit worth the travel. Highly recommend!

Moksha Yoga - VIC

Don Barrow Moksha Yoga in Bentleigh is an authentically spiritual shala, owned and operated by the amazing Emma Palmer. Emma and her team have created a welcoming space for all aspects of traditional yoga. A wide range of asana classes suitable for all levels from beginners to advanced practitioners led by some of the best instructors in Melbourne. She also offers teacher training courses and several immersions throughout the year, including a Ko Samui retreat. The best thing about Moksha though is the genuine sense of community within the Shala, making new friends and sharing in the warmth of like minded people. I have been coming to Moksha since 2017 and look forward to many more years ahead.

Ivy Training - VIC

Kyrani Notaras I started training at Ivy over a year ago, having not done strength training for a long while, and its been one of the best decisions. Jake is the most knowledgeable trainer Ive ever worked with and Ivy is such a great environment to train in. The community Jake and the team have cultivated is really special. Ive never been one for training early in the morning but every Friday at 6am I muster every fibre and mobilise to train, and its a real highlight in my week. Jake is always supportive of my fitness goals and with his guidance Ive grown in confidence to train on my own at my regular gym also. Ive gotten stronger over the past year - I can feel the results both while training and also taking on the demands of a very busy life outside of the gym. Quality personal training is one of the most worthwhile investments anyone can make in their health and wellbeing. If youre after a friendly, personalised training experience, I’d definitely recommend checking out Ivy Training — and Jake in particular.
