1 /5 Trent Light: Received incorrect advice regarding my injury from physio. Forced into exercises that my ankle joint wasnt stabalised enough to perform, now require additional surgery after spending a great deal of money on physiotherapy plus regular gym membership fees which are excessive.
When questions around the treatment were raised, those questions were met with a patronising tone, lacking any form of empathy whatsoever. No follow up advice or support was offered. No effort to make things right provided.
My advice would be to avoid and not work with a physiotherapist who is linked to a gym that charges $100+ per fortnight to attend. Once things go bad you get no response and are treated with contempt. Avoid.
Ignore their response and offer to help below - it came almost 12 months after I initially reached out for help. I have been seeing an independent physio at MSAC who is much better. General feedback from both surgeons and other allied health professionals is that Kiesers physiotherapists are KPId on selling memberships to vulnerable patients in need of help.
No one has since reached out, nor have I been connected to the right person to address my issues.
For the record, I have found myself with a fused ankle/foot and decreased overall quality of life thanks to the poor, inexperienced professionals at Kieser.
Again, I just recommend avoiding their physiotherapy service unless you want to be suckered into an overpriced membership for their gym, with inexperienced staff who do more damage than good.
