Base Camp Strength & Conditioning - VIC

Shona Pallas After being away for a few years due to injury, coming back to Base Camp (although it’s still body change to me) felt like coming home. It’s so inclusive and welcoming. Everything is tailored to your circumstances and although there are a lot of ultra fit people attending (and they are my inspo), there is still a place for a 48yo with limited fitness base and a significant foot injury. Tim and Kass, thank you, you’ve created an amazing community and both Milla and I are excited to be a part of it.

Alizé - Personal trainer - VIC

Nadia van Niekerk Ive been training with Alizé close to 2 years and I could not be happier. She is very supportive but also knows when to give you that little push. Been going to the gym for many years but I saw noticeable results since I started training with her.Highly recommend!

Rebecca Sinnott Really impressed with KingBeats Gym! Just moved to the area. It has a great range of new machines, super clean facilities, PT sessions available and friendly staff who make you feel welcome. Parking is easy too — couldn’t ask for more.

Exercise Physiology + Dry Needling + Strength Clinic - VIC

Claudia I highly recommend Borja. He’s been helping me with non-surgical rehab for my knee injury / complete ACL tear. I originally had been seeing a physio, but wanted a program that was much more rigorous, structured, and strength based, and to work with someone who really understands what’s involved in making the knee strong and stable again (my physio program was lacking). I found Borja by chance just walking past his sign and I’m so glad I did! He has been invaluable to the progress that I’ve made over the last two months of seeing him. My knee is much more stable, and I overall feel much stronger and more confident in my movements. He uses objective measures to determine your level of strength (including between left/right sides) and has developed a structured program with strength training, balance, proprioception, and plyometrics. He also identified some general strength imbalances and weaknesses, and has tailored my program to target other chronic injuries I’ve had and other activities I do (eg pole dancing). Besides all this, he’s a great guy and is a pleasure to work with.
