1 /5 KEVIN B GLENNON: The store does not want to honor the warranty of a my wife very expensive weeding ring . The store attendant was extremely rude and dismissive. I asked to talk to the manager but was not able. Today I got a call from the branch manager Patty and it just gets worse. The explanation on why the store will not honor the warranty is because of “customer damage”. When I asked to explain what damage did we do they could not explain . Another way just not say they would not honor the warranty. The worst of this all is that 1 year ago I also had another issue with the same store when my wedding ring had an issue and they could not resolve the issue so they asked to be able to pick another ring or get a credit. So for all that are looking for wedding rings maybe Michael Hill may not be the best place to get your so important rings .

To be honest had never shopped at Michael Hill before as saw it as a large chain store, but experience to date with all the staff I have interacted with (including store manager) has completely changed my view. Brought replacement rings after ones brought from another company had issues with them - Michael Hill staff were extremely helpful and rings were made to order so were just right. What I was also really impressed with was that I was served some of the time by the one of the regional managers.. (who I have also seen in there with customers on other occasions when I have walked past the store). I have worked in leadership roles in corporate for a long time, and this includes Group Customer Operations, and I am always one "roll my sleeves up" when needed, but also know how rare this can be.. - particularly once leaders are a step or two away from "day to day interactions with customers". I think it says a lot when regional manager gets involved on occasion now and works with customers - and on all counts seemed to really enjoy the customer interaction. Have since purchase additional product from this shop and will continue to support. Thank you to the great staff here and ability to be flexible with product and orders.

5 /5 Roy Hou: My girlfriend and I had a really good shopping experience! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. We’re really happy with the rings we bought. We spent a long time picking our engagement ring and wedding bands, Jenny was with us the whole time and helped us in everything we needed. We didn’t have a big budget, but Jenny was still really friendly and willing to help us with the rings and give us recommendations. Picking rings is important for us, and this shopping experience is always gonna be a good memory for us.

The assistant, Sue, listened to my thoughts and was very helpful in directing me to a beautiful collection of jewellery. She explained the design represented the strength and resilience of a shell worn by waves which resonated with me. My daughter in law was delighted with her present and the meaning behind it.
