1 /5 Ch. AJ.: Very disappointed with the experience today. My wife and I both have memberships and were told we could bring a friend for a free pass. When we arrived, the manager at the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. She made everything unnecessarily complicated and insisted on charging $20 for a one-day pass ā which we were fine with ā but we just didnāt want our friend to know we were paying for her. She refused to take the payment in advance and made us pay in front of our friend when she arrived, which was very embarrassing.
My complaint is mainly about the manager ā she was arrogant, dismissive, and spoke in a very condescending way. There was also another female staff member beside her who seemed uninterested and made no effort to assist. After we finished speaking with them, I noticed the manager talking to other staff about it, showing no empathy or professionalism, almost laughing about the situation.
The gym itself is good, but the management is absolutely terrible. Iāve been a Crunch member for over 10 years and never had such an unpleasant experience. Horrible management, rude staff, and an overall embarrassing encounter. Awful people and awful customer service.
