5 /5 Luwi Kysiakani: I trained at The Compound every week for a couple months as preparation for a Spartan race (which I completed yesterday). The facility has replicas of obstacles youll see at Spartan, and their obstacles are more difficult - which I liked since you want training to be tough so you arent in over your head on race day. My highlight was learning to climb a rope. When I started at the Compound, I couldnt climb a rope at all. But with Clems advice and pointers, and lots of practice, I eventually did it. And yesterday during the Spartan race, I completed the rope climb twice and avoided the penalties - woohoo! I definitely couldnt have done that with the help of The Compound and Clem. The Compound is a great place to go if you want to practice Spartan obstacles, Ninja Warrior obstacles, or if you just want a full body workout that doesnt necessarily involve lifting weights. Clem is lovely, and Macho the dog is a sweetie. I have already invited a few friends to check out the place and they love it too, so I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone else.
