emily keely I have been seeing the girls at Vital Effect for over 5 years now and there is no where else that compares. I have had ongoing skin issues and they go above and beyond to not only treat my skin but the extensive knowledge about what internal factors are effecting it. I have gotten results with Jamie that I have never had anywhere else. Its a beautiful studio in a great location and I drift off to another place during treatments. Thank you so much girls, cannot thank you enough!

Edward Delany I have been delighted by how helpful the staff at this clinic have been. I have had Paris for my treatments and she is lovely and knows exactly what she is talking about. Since starting my time at GSC my skin is looking the best it ever has. Highly reccomend.

Liam Clancey The ladies here are great. Carly did my waxing for years and now I go to her for IPL laser removal instead. Such a warm and welcoming environment, and very reasonably priced. Recently my gf has started going here for facials and lashes as well and shes really happy with it. Highly recommend.

Mak P This was my first time here and I usually feel awkward as a man going and getting waxing done. However, everyone here was very professional and Chan was fantastic, I’ve never had someone take so much care to make sure it was done well, and the price is very reasonable too, I left very happy. Will definitely come back!

Jamie I have been getting laser for a while at a different clinic and I have finally started seeing results after seeing Karyn. She is so professional, friendly and very welcoming. She really knows her stuff. I could not recommend her more.

Nicole Healy I had my haircut at Anaka by Anna a few weeks ago and i absolutely love it. It’s been about a year since I had a good reshape on my long thick hair, she was able to give me a great cut that I can wear both naturally wavy and also smoothed out in a bouncy blowdry! Love! Thanks Anna !

Jessica Blennerhassett I rarely get my nails done, and so was excited to have colour french tips done (and it not be priced as nail art). The result is beautiful, simple, and exactly what I wanted. The service too is fast and personable. Would highly recommend!

Fiona Hughes So disappointed with the service today. I booked an appointment for me and a friend for a Mani/ Pedi at 2:45. We were kept waiting for 45 minutes before anyone touched us. I have just walked out 2 hours later! and I just had paint! No shellac or gel. No apology. I used to recommend this place they habitually run late. Don’t take bookings if you won’t honor them. Sadly, they don’t care. I won’t be back.

Naquelle Facey I love this clinic! Had my first consultation with Maria and she thoroughly went through my needs. I was really happy to book a treatment with her recommendations :) I went in this Tuesday and had the polish treatment. Honestly the best treatment and service I have had. Really work on all areas of the face and my main concern. Maria did an amazing job and I really felt she was doing all she can to help with my concerned skin. And great advise too :) Ill be going back in 2weeks! X

Gillian Coleman I visited the Salon today for a blow wave. Helen did my hair. She was delightful and gave me a beautiful blow wave - bouncy and full bodied. It was a very good experience and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend this salon and the services of Helen. I will return to the salon on my next trip to Melbourne. Thank you Helen.

Miriam Perets Mahi was amazing: this was my first time getting my lashes done, I was initially quite hesitant but the moment I walked in Mahi had such a calm and welcoming energy, it made me feel really comfortable. Lashes were exactly how I wanted it to look like. She listened and worked on me with such grace. Thank you Mahi!

Marine ¨P I’ve been coming here regularly and overall, it’s a great spot - reliable, efficient, and they always manage to fit me in, even last minute, which I really appreciate. They’re open to different design ideas and do a really great job with shaping and refills. My BIAB nails have stayed strong and healthy since I started. That said, it’s not a spa-like experience. The atmosphere can be a bit rushed, and while it’s completely fine that the staff speak in their own language, there are moments where it feels like they might be talking about you, which can be uncomfortable. The level of nail art skill really depends on who you get - some a great and some less so will take longer. So if you want a specific design, definitely ask ahead and make sure they’re comfortable with it. If you’re after great value, efficient service, and strong nails without the frills, this place is absolutely perfect. I keep going back.

Charlotte Horrible and dangerous!! Dont ever have a service here. Today I went to have my legs waxed. The person kept on putting wax despite my skin being red. I was laying down so I didnt realise until I felt the acute pain. I ended up with hematomas, which are bad bruises on my leg (see photo). I note that I took the photos at least 1.5 hour later, and it looks much better now. I told them to stop as no one cared and they continued to wax my other leg, in a rough way No one apologised! One of them then went to get the machine to charge me for leaving me like this. Pathetic. Im never coming back here.

Linh Ly I got my nails done at this salon and despite me saying upfront to be careful with my cuticles because they are sensitive and prone to peeling, the nail technician preceded to start filing my cuticles anyway. When they started doing it I tried to stop them to tell them to be careful but instead of adjusting the cuticle removal the technician got annoyed instead and made an unpleasant face, similar to “wtf you’re being ridiculous”. Then turned to her co-worker and talked badly about me in Chinese. Unfortunately for them, I can understand Chinese and understood them talking badly about me for asking to be careful with my cuticles. I understand that cuticles clean up is needed to help the nail stay, but there are ways to cut cuticles to minimise the damage of it as with other salons I’ve gone to. The nail tech proceeded to keep being aggressive with my cuticle removals and when I tensed up due to the pain she YELLED at me aggressively to relax. I have had my nails done several times since and every other nail tech has been so kind about being careful with my cuticle care which lead to no peeling or cuticle damage. Unsurprisingly, my cuticles started to peel extremely badly after (see the photos) and it took me weeks to get them to go back to normal. Other manicures I have done since have no resulted in this level of peeling because the nail tech at this salon had damaged my cuticles even though I warned them in advance how sensitive they are. Then the only smile or niceness I got all day was when I went to pay. I’m never coming back, not just because of the poor treatment of customers but also because the retention was also absolutely horrible. The front of my nails chipped within the week! Meanwhile other salon I’ve gone to had a 4-6 weeks retention. The other reviews are so right about the level of unprofessionalism of this place.

Suzanne Finch I’ve always had a positive experience. I also get lash tinting. For lash tint and perm, is good. I enquired about eyebrow feathering. They all recommended. So the woman applied non permanent to give me a view of how it would look. I believe that not everyone suits this sort of (semi permanent) styling. On me it looked ridiculous. I see so many young girls getting it done. They shouldnt. They may be better off with shaping and tinting. I feel they (the feathering stylist in particular ) is a little too focused on doing that rather than proposing the advice that it isn’t for everyone. Perhaps just to go for something that highlights one’s feature, not make it look like it’s been done, so obvious a fake look. Please think twice about looking too fake. Enhance not lesson your qualities. Less is more in many situations.
