Labassa Mansion

Anima Sola Stunning historical mansion, open days are held every third Sunday, best to book tickets in advance. The guides conduct tours of the house every hour, but you can explore on your own. Tea room cafe in the courtyard has some lovely scones and cake.

Guilfoyles Volcano

A W Such an interesting piece of design that is both beautiful and functional. As with all things in the Botanical gardens Guilfoyles is well thought out, practical and beautifully executed. Accessible from both sides of the garden for all abilities, its a pleasure to walk up to the top and get an understanding of how it all works and the useful purpose it serves. Once at the top, theres some great views of the city and the rest of the gardens.

LEGOLANDĀ® Discovery Centre Melbourne

Ni My child enjoyed this place a lot, and thats the most important thing, hence the 5 star review. Despite some aspects looking a bit dated and old, like the ride and the 4D cinema. The highlight was taking part in the Master builder session where we went through a guided task of putting a lego figurine together. We booked a 10.30 session online, but we arrived early and they kindly let us in before the allocated time. There is a cafe but we brought our own snacks.

Ardrie Park

J R Very pleasant space, friendly, and quiet. Tennis courts, wide open grassy field for running, games, or picnicking. Plenty of shade from beautiful trees. A few benches, one picnic bench. Small childrens playground which is safely fenced because this is an off-lead park. Provision of bins, and dog poo bags.

Sir Robert Menzies Reserve

Jason Tabrett A little bit of a hidden gem on the far side of Toorak Road and not easily seen from the street! There is a large sized cricket field there, cricket nets, park bench for picnics and a fun playground for the younger children!

Sir Zelman Cowen Park

Steve Le Big park with connections to a Baseball ground which is rare for Melbourne. Friendly area and major spaces for dogs to run around. Though tables would be nice for a picnic.

Hawthorn Headges

Ying Yi Liao Interesting and wonderful hedges! Just on the main roadside. It might take some time to remain I guess.

North Road Reserve

Sam Keir Nice walk from Baths past all the lovely houses, obvious to spot the original ones as theyre not as imposing as their neighbours. Very popular on a Sunday afternoon, lots of walkers, cyclists and dogs. Good city views too.

Jewish Museum of Australia

Stu Jones Really useful visit. So much to learn, so much to understand and appreciate. Some museums are too big...but this is just right...excellent content...well laid out ....2 or 3 hours....longer if you want...up to you. I knew very little about the Jewish people and religion before my visit...now I know a bit more...and I respect and understand a bit more. Maybe Ill go again. Lovely staff....very welcoming....thank you.
