1 /5 Al L: Weve been here many times with our kids and always have a fantastic time. The volunteers are always nice and friendly. We truly respect and appreciate them for their time and for keeping this adventure going for many families to enjoy.
Unfortunately, today I had a bad experience with one of the volunteers, which has prompted me to write this review. I believe this individual may benefit from some self-reflection or additional training.
As we were getting off the miniature train and heading toward the exit gate, one of the volunteersāwho had been sitting at the back of the trainābegan screaming and pointing his finger at me, accusing me of allowing my child to reach outside the train during the ride. I denied this, as my 5-year-oldās hands were inside the entire time. It was a cold day, and I had held him in a bear hug throughout the ride.
I calmly asked the volunteer to stop yelling, but he continued raising his voice in front of the kids and other families, which was very embarrassing. Another volunteer, the train conductor, had to step in and quietly told me, āDonāt worry, just go.ā Had the conductor not intervened, I might have shared my unfiltered opinion with the other volunteer.
I probably wonāt be returning for a while. My apologies to all the other volunteers who do a great jobāyou donāt deserve to be overshadowed by this one incident. I understand a one-star review might seem harsh based on a single encounter, but I believe this matter needs to be addressed. Iāve included a photo of the volunteer who caused the unnecessary scene.
