Khizar Always refreshing and fulfilling to visit the park

Chris Bray I had seen this on social media on a couple of occasions and am so glad that we decided to go here and check it out. It is an interesting amalgamation of architectural designs and the overall vision of the whole community is incredible. Its like stepping into some sort of European fairytale area with a mix of gothic, French and 18t Century design. Created predominantly by two artistic families, it is something totally unique. We spent a good couple of hours exploring the grounds and different buildings and garden, and then had a light bite to eat in the cafe there too. A great experience that we talked about for a long time after.

Paul McLaughlin A good all round park with BBQ and picnic facilities, playground, park gym equipment, football oval, walking path (about 1km) and leash off dog area.

Scott Taylor Quite and scenic park. Home to eastern grey kangaroos and native birds. I’ve seen wombats and echidna’s here however this is rare. Swampy area with many frog species. Beautiful bird song. Area accessible by walking track.

Dinesh Chaudhary Jells Park is a fantastic place to unwind—plenty of space for running, walking, and just being in nature. Lots of play areas for kids too, so it’s perfect for families. There’s a café onsite, which is handy for grabbing a coffee, though the coffee itself could be better—but hey, at least there’s an option!

Linda MacAulay Great walk along the river and a good swim spot. The access can be steep and is on an umade path so not suitable for those with mobility issues

Ali - Places to Lunch What’s not to love? Warrandyte River Reserve is a stunning destination that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and recreational activities. On the first Saturday of each month, the reserve comes alive with the Warrandyte Riverside Market, held from 8 AM to 1 PM. This vibrant market features over 180 stalls, showcasing local produce, handmade crafts, and gourmet foods. Its a fantastic opportunity to support local while enjoying live music and a lively community atmosphere. The markets location by the river enhances the experience, making it a delightful outing for families and friends.

Andrew Buckley Lovely park with quite a decent playground for the kids, electric BBQ, full football oval with goal posts, usable public restrooms (Clean but old), Great for dogs aswell. Adjacent to train station and shops.

Daniela Morseto My favourite childhood place to visit on some weekends as I grew up on Owen Street just up from the park where the cottage and grounds are situated...I was fascinated with the place and said I would get married there one day.. the memories of all the intriguing things I would see including the cemetery...

Jesse Birch Love this place, a little wild sanctuary in the suburbs! Great to see emus, kangaroos, and a wealth of other wildlife... we even saw a powerful owl one day! Highly recommended for any lovers of nature, thanks to all staff for their dedication and upkeep ♥️
