1 /5 R F: I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Mini. My appointment was booked for 3:10pm, and I completed the online form before arriving. However, I wasn’t seen until 3:30pm, and the entire appointment—including two X-rays and the cleaning—was finished by 3:55pm. That’s just 25 minutes of actual service, for a first-time check-up and clean that cost nearly $350.
The cleaning felt rushed, and although Dr. Mini said I needed a filling, she told me there wasn’t time to do it. When I raised concerns about the short duration, she insisted that “time doesn’t matter” and claimed she had done everything properly.
I returned to the clinic to express my concerns. She agreed to take another look but continued to insist the original cleaning was thorough. I had to ask her to show me my teeth in the mirror—only then did I spot black stains that clearly hadn’t been removed. She said cleaning only removes calculus, not stains, but when I pointed to one stain, she removed it in seconds. That made it clear it had simply been missed. She then impatiently asked, “Any other ones you want me to remove?”—which made me feel even more uncomfortable. I couldn’t check my upper teeth properly, so I said to let it go. She didn’t say goodbye, and I left feeling dismissed.
For the price and being a first-time patient, I expected professional, patient-centered care. Unfortunately, what I received was rushed treatment, a lack of transparency, and an unwillingness to take feedback seriously. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic.
