I am extremely angry and dissatisfied with the reception staff. I provided my information along with my Bupa membership number on the form. When I entered the doctor’s room, I was told that the costs would be covered by Bupa. However, the reception staff had not checked my membership number or service details.
Had I known that I would have to pay all the costs myself, I would have either opted out of the procedure entirely or removed some parts of it. Unfortunately, after the procedure, when I used my Bupa card, I was informed that I had to pay the full amount personally. I ended up paying $497 just for a cleaning, and I was very lucky that my teeth did not require any additional services.
At the end, the reception staff were smiling, which I found completely inappropriate. There was nothing funny about the situation, and their reaction only made me angrier. My frustration and dissatisfaction seemed amusing to them, which I find entirely unacceptable.
