5 /5 Moti Cohen: Absolutely incredible view. This is one of very few national parks in the Dandenong Ranges with a clear view of the landscape including the city. Very sad to hear that 18 people died in a plane crash here in the 1930’s. I was extremely lucky to get parking. There is extremely limited parking. I recommend coming very early to avoid the chance of being unable to find parking. Unfortunately, like as mentioned in some other reviews, there is a significant littering problem, every path I hiked had quite a bit of rubbish scattered over the landscape. It’s very unfortunate that tourists/visitors feel like they can dump non-biodegradable rubbish into this beautiful landscape. Maybe adequate signage could help?
If you live in Melbourne or are visiting here, there is no question you should come here, it’s absolutely stunning, even though there is a littering problem as well as limited parking.
