1 /5 Elisa Aksu: I have never written a review before, let alone a negative one, but I feel compelled to share my experience in hopes of preventing others from going through the same distress I did with this company.
On January 3rd, 2025, I visited their Richmond clinic for a lip filler treatment. I initially planned to get 0.5ml of filler, but during the consultation, I was offered a promotion where the learning nurse would perform the procedure for free under the supervision of a more experienced nurse, who assured me she would closely monitor the process and correct any issues. I was hesitant but ultimately chose to proceed with 1ml, trusting their reassurance that my lips would be carefully done under proper supervision. I paid for the extra 0.5ml as the professional nurse said she would perform that portion, but instead, the learning nurse ended up completing the entire procedure.
However, this is where everything went wrong, and I strongly urge others not to fall for this promotion. As the learning nurse administered the dental block, she did so incorrectly. Some areas of my lips were numb while others were not. When they performed a needle test, I clearly expressed that I could still feel pain, but despite this, they continued with the filler injection. Throughout the process, I could hear the supervising nurse repeatedly correcting the learning nurse, saying the needle had gone too deep or that she wasn’t injecting enough product. I was in the chair for over 30 minutes, experiencing significant discomfort and pain—something I shouldn’t have felt with a proper dental block.
When the procedure was finally over, I was emotionally exhausted and looked in the mirror to find my lips dramatically swollen. I was visibly distressed and repeatedly asked if this was normal, but both nurses insisted the swelling would go down.
That night and for the following days, my lips were severely swollen, bruised, and extremely painful—far worse than any filler experience I’ve had before. I also noticed lumps forming, which only added to my distress. I called the clinic the next day, crying, and explained what had happened. I was told my case would be escalated to management and that someone would get back to me. They never did. Instead, I was advised to email their compliance team, as the clinic couldn’t do anything without management approval.
I emailed compliance as instructed and was told I would receive a response within five business days. Yet, even after repeated follow-ups, no one reached out to address my concerns. I called again, desperately seeking help, only to be reassured that someone was handling my case and I would hear back soon—yet no one ever did.
This entire experience has left me feeling completely dismissed and unheard, as if they are hoping I will give up and forget about the issue rather than taking accountability for the harm caused. I am deeply disappointed, not only by the outcome of my treatment but by the appalling lack of care and customer service I have received since.
No one should walk into a clinic hoping to feel more confident, only to leave feeling emotionally and physically distraught, neglected, and disrespected. I trusted them with my care, and they failed me in every possible way. Please, do not be swayed by their low prices and promotional offers—invest in a clinic that values your well-being, respects your concerns, and stands by their work.
I share my experience not out of anger but genuine heartache, hoping it serves as a warning so no one else has to go through the pain I’ve endured.
