Lee Daniello Great spot to check out the reef and rock pools. Lots of various kinds of seaweed and seagrass, plenty of opportunities for shell hunting, and further out on the head of the mushroom, you can see some fish swimming in the small canyons under water. You might even find some abalone shells!
There werent a lot of people when I went, but I did see a small group of people snorkelling, seems like it would be a great spot for it.
A word of caution, do check tides before walking out onto the causeway, especially if youre not a strong swimmer. I made the mistake of going out to the edge of the reef as low tide was ending and before I realized it, the entire causeway was well underwater, making it a bit difficult to walk back to shore through almost knee deep water (luckily I didnt encounter any rays!).
