1 /5 Bethany Anderson: I made a booking by email two weeks prior to my appointment, and in this I specified that email was the best way to correspond as I live overseas. This appointment was confirmed in the email chain, with their last reply ending with "We have you booked in...we look forward to seeing you then!" . I showed up on time for my appointment and was told that because I hadnt responded to a text confirmation my appointment was canceled. I was never told that a text confirmation would be sent, and in fact was never asked for and never provided a phone number.
The staff did offer a next day appointment, unfortunately I had an event that night, which was the reason I booked the haircut and style appointment. Beyond this offering the staff were not able to provide any assistance, despite an empty salon and two staff members present. They said they had another appointment arriving in 15 minutes, and while I understand they didnt want to double book that client, this left me feeling that I was less valuable to them than their other clientele. I visited multiple other salons to try to get a last minute appointment, but unsurprisingly they were fully booked. Breathe and Colour Corrections were both friendlier and kinder than the team at Frenchys, although they were not able to fit me in at short notice. Eventually I was able to be helped by Superstar Nails and Beauty, who did do a great job.
