2 /5 -: • 2024 Review: I usually politely wait for 3 hours to have my nails completed, but at my last daytime booking, I kindly stated the time I had to be finished, and in response resorted to inappropriate behaviour (staff huddled together to remark upon me) after their repetitive failure to understand the time I was communicating (assuming a lesser time). This was quite upsetting and no apology was offered. I was then given bad nails by another staff member (as my technician left me?). Builder gel binds against the natural nail and due to the LED binding, if you don’t remove your hand from the machine a few times, it is horrendously painful, and hence a universal formality with this service. They insisted I keep my hands in the machine for 60-seconds and despite tearing up, my politeness was wasted on such cruelty (imagine being punished this way).
I made some constructive suggestions (i.e. actually covering my nail with polish on the sides) and was ignored. As expected by their appearence (image), the builder nails bent and broke a week later with little use.
I grew reluctant to have my shellac (gel) and pedicure completed on my toes as my polish would consistently chip within the month. They cut corners with how much product they use, and it doesn’t get a client back into the chair sooner > it loses the client.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a good, or loyal customer, they will be rude if they want, and do not respect your time. Incredibly petty and unpleasant situation to be in, doesn’t have to be this way. I rather have natural nails than this.
• 2022 Review: My nails are always perfect and the staff are friendly and easy to communicate with. Usually I get SNS on my fingernails (longer style) and shellac on my toe nails. Neither chip or peel off like other salons and I return for the quality of the service. This nail salon also never pushes you to pay in cash which is kind of great.
