Jock Marshall Reserve - (VIC)

5 /5 Aust Bowy: A small serene Reserve,where people can come and enjoy the tranquil water. If you sit and watch, youll spot birds,fish and other wildlife as you enjoy this small piece of land away from your busy life.

5 /5 Pauline Laing: The boardwalk over this reserve runs from Blackburn Rd, near the corner of Duerdin St, and near a bus stop, into the campus. Its an excellent, accessible walk for a afternoon, as well as useful access to the university. There are signs at both ends of the boardwalk. After the boardwalk you can stroll around a lake, although this path is much rougher. Plenty of birds to see from the boardwalk, and I think I saw a river turtle. Lots of dragonflies too. The reserve is actively used by students in biological science, so you may see signs of their work. An unexpected bonus - the universitys free wifi reaches the reserve.

5 /5 Evelyn Chiodi: The Jock Marshall Reserve is a beautiful section just off the main Monash Campus for students and staff alike to unwind. The reserve itself is inaccessible to non-staff/non-ecology student members as there are safety and conservatory measures in place, however the surrounding gardens and lake are available for walks, bird-watching, gatherings and relaxation.

5 /5 Margaret Wong: A walkway has recently been added over the Jock Marshal Reserve; an area within the Clayton Campus of Monash University. The reserve has been established since the early 1960s and is used for biological and ecological research. So there is a flourishing ecosystem to be admired as you cross the walkway. There were quite a large number of species of birds, insects , tadpoles visible during my short walk. The highlight was wood mynahs chasing off a Kookaburra , sadly I missed photographing this ... next time??

4 /5 Ryan Jones: Jock Marshall Reserve is located in the Monash University, Clayton campus and is a very beautiful natural environment. However, it can sometimes be confusing to navigate or find your classroom. This is an unfortunate downside for such a lovely place
