3 /5 江波: A decidedly mixed experience. The entry fee is expensive, at $36 per person, and definitely overpriced considering the relatively small size of this discovery centre.
Inside, the Miniland, a Lego recreation of Melbournes landmarks, is commendable and interesting (see photos), along with the theatre and gift shop; the staff is also friendly. However, the other attractions- two rides, a play centre, and a few other small exhibitions- are underwhelming and squarely for young children. The cafe offers only a rudimentary selection- I would definitely recommend dining elsewhere in Chadstone. One of the play facilities is also rather dilapidated (again see photo).
On balance, this discovery centre is not atrocious, but neither is it particularly memorable, and is certainly overpriced.
