5 /5 Fish Williams: Montrose Community Playground is a great open and accessible space that offers a wide range of activities for kids of all ages. Whether you’ve got toddlers keen to explore or older kids looking for something more adventurous, there’s plenty to keep them entertained. The layout is well thought out, making it easy for families to spread out and enjoy the space.
There’s plenty of seating and tables, which makes it a great spot for picnics or just taking a break while the kids play. Parking is decent, though if the main area fills up, there’s more parking down by the footy oval.
The only downside? Littering. Despite the fact that bins are easy to find, some people still leave rubbish around, which is frustrating and disrespectful to such a great community space.
Overall, it’s a well-designed, inclusive, and enjoyable playground, perfect for families looking for a fun and relaxed day out. Just a shame some visitors don’t clean up after themselves!
