3 /5 Mischief Ms (Mischief): With the intentions of getting a peek of the first blood moon of 2025, a friend and I thought we would try our luck here. After arriving at 18:15 yesterday evening and trying to establish the perfect place to hopefully get a few moon rising pics, Melbournes mother nature decided clouds were needed all along the easterly horizon so any chances of just a glimpse of the final moments of the lunar eclipse became none existent, ah well next time.
Panoramic view Point as somewhere to witness the sunset:
10/10 from me, the infrastructure installed on and around the view Point provided an opportunity to find ways to include said infrastructure into pictures, up to and including, powerlines, signs, buildings and more.
Most people who appreciate sunsets, sunrises and moons doing the same tend to be people who take steps to make as little an impact on the area
This evening, the area was disappointingly unkempt and uncared for, obvious vandalism and destruction of fences, gates, and the rubbish. to yourself, do you want to be one of those who contributes to the lose of access to this lookout for everyone?
FYI, there is limited space. Once at the viewing area, keep that in mind.
