at the very beginning I went to this dentist on May just for a routine cleaning, and at the time, I had no pain at all in my teeth. During the appointment, the dentist said one of my teeth had a crack and needed a filling. If I had known that the filling would cause my tooth pulp to become inflamed and lead to unbearable pain, would I have agreed to the filling? Of course not.
After two weeks of pain, I returned to the office and spoke to the boss and front desk. They dismissed my concerns, saying that the dentist had already told me a crown was needed, but I insisted on the filling, so the pain was my responsibility. If I already knew everything, why would I seek advice from a dentist in the first place?
I’ve been a patient at this clinic for five to six years, but this is how they treat loyal customers. I initially left a negative review, and they quickly contacted me, offering to redo the filling for free and ask me deleted the review. I agreed, and they repaired it, but my tooth continued to hurt. By August, the pain was so severe that I couldnt function normally. Do you understand how unbearable that kind of pain is?
Now, they continue to tell me that this is my fault. I’ve had to consult other dentists to figure out whats going on because it’s clear this clinic doesn’t want to take responsibility. They seem more concerned about not dealing with the issue, likely because a root canal is now necessary, which is expensive.
When I visit a dentist, it’s with the expectation that my teeth will get better, not worse. If the filling was a bad idea from the start, shouldn’t the dentist have used their professional knowledge to explain that it could cause severe pain?
I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone, as they clearly dont take responsibility for their mistakes and put their patients through unnecessary suffering.
