Manini Dhar It is a lovely place to visit if you are located close to the city, particularly on a sunny day. The sunset views are to die for, and one can also see a beautiful view of the city skyline. The pier has been recently renovated and is now open from the morning till 5 PM. There are ample places to sit, few cafes nearby to enjoy a cup of hot coffee and has nice walking tracks too. Summers are quite crowded. The best part about this pier is one can see little penguins near the rocks by the pier, particularly during sunset. It is advisable to keep silence near the rocks so as to not disturb the penguins while clicking their photos.

Quynh Nguyen Queen Victoria Market is a must-visit spot in Melbourne, especially if you love food, culture, and local vibes. The market is full of energy, with a huge variety of fresh produce, meats, seafood, cheeses, and deli items. There are also food stalls offering delicious street food, coffee, and baked goods – perfect for breakfast or lunch. Apart from the food, you’ll find clothes, souvenirs, handmade crafts, and more. It’s a great place to explore, even if you’re just browsing. The atmosphere is lively, friendly, and full of character, and it gives you a real taste of Melbourne’s local life. Shawn Zhang A wonderful spot to watch the sunset, Melbourne skyline, and people, lots of people. Very busy over the long weekend, and probably most weekends too. Parking right at the lookout can be tricky to find, but if you are happy to walk 10 minutes, then you should be fine. Still worth the trip as the view is beautiful!

Matt Very interesting place if it takes your fancy. Lots of historical art and pieces to modern day. Best of all it’s free entry! Just a heads up it does get extremely hot inside and be careful of bag size. Backpacks are not allowed inside however you can check them for free.
