1 /5 Dana Ezzat: Horrible service and salon! Avoid at all cost! I saw Olga once before when this shop was Ross Caia and she was okay. I saw her again on Saturday and she seemed so agitated. Olga burnt my hair while tending to 2-3 other clients and leaving me in foils for approximately 1.5 hours. She yelled at me, huffed and puffed when I told her it looked white/grey after the foils and that I wanted it darker like the pictures that I clearly showed her, she abused me for a good 2-3 hours on Saturday. I had to request for her to get away physically from me. At the end her excuse was that "She is going through menopause". After foils and toner, my hair had yellowy/white strands that looked like melted straw. They fell out as soon as I touched them, so much of it fell out, probably two hands full. I asked Olga what that was she yelled at me and told me its normal and that its fault, I should not have touched my hair, it should be brushed. I later discovered after leaving the shop and googling that this is what happens when the hair burns and falls off after being left in bleach for too long. I will be ecalating to ACC and VCAT. They overcharged me as well at the end for trying to fix the bleach, but because they cannot speak proper english, they blamed it on the accent and that I misunderstood and thats their pricing. I was charged $383 even though I was told $250 while booking. My hair is grey now when I asked for subtle blonde low lights. My scalp is red and my hair has been falling. I went to the doctor due to burn and he was shocked. I hope they get shut down immediately, please re-consider before ever visiting this shop. We asked to contact the manager several times and we have not even been provided with a name or been put through to the manager. And yesterday, my husband got a very aggressive text denying every single thing and saying that its basically my fault. I will make the ACCC access your cameras and take you under! :) Olga is horrible and management is horrible! Avoid at all cost.

4 /5 Nazanin R: My friend and I recently visited Shima for layered haircuts, and overall, we had a great experience. My friend’s hairdresser, Charley, was a standout. He was kind, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. My friend was thrilled with her haircut and the service she received. My hairdresser was a lady who did a solid job. She was professional, though the interaction was less warm compared to Charley’s. My haircut turned out well, and I was satisfied with the result. The salon had a pleasant atmosphere, and we both left happy with our new layered looks. I’d recommend Shima, especially if you get a chance to book with Charley!

5 /5 Mandy: I had an excellent experience at Shima Hair de Beaute. I had foils, a haircut, and a keratin treatment done here and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The team was professional, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. My hair looks and feels amazing — the color is vibrant, the cut is exactly what I wanted, and the keratin treatment has left it silky smooth. 2 /5 Jessica Gala: Went to get a trim to take about 1cm off and asked for a straight blunt cut which it started off really good and was even perfect then he thinned the ends of the cut and I said no thinning and I don’t think he understood so he kept going and now it’s not blunt at all it looks very ratty and uneven and looks unhealthy. He even cut into my bangs and made them shorter which was very frustrating as I’m trying to grow it out and make it even. I tired to give feedback but my hair is already short and she offered to cut it further which made no sense at all. Then she asked me to leave a google review at that point i realised she didn’t understand well what i was saying. Very disappointed in the hair cut which is a shame because they’re lovely people just were unable to do a basic trim.

5 /5 Linda L: Have been here two times already and am so impressed by the service!! Each time I come everyone is so kind, professional and welcoming. Their hairdressers are amazing at their job and can tell out a lot of effort into each customer. They made my dry hair feel so silky and smooth. Definitely recommend to get your hair cut here.
