1 /5 A A: Im not sure why Ive avoided writing this review for so long. I guess Im not really one to leave bad reviews, however this has been going on for far too long. Ive been receiving services from the Beauty and Brow Parlour in Forest Hill for over a year. Im not sure why I keep going back although I think its because Im nervous about trusting a new place. When I first started going there, the staff tried to convince me to get threading done even though I wanted waxing (I tried threading a while ago elsewhere and knew it was too painful for me). She was so pushy, and Im clearly not good at standing up for myself so I tried it and started crying from the pain. Therefore, she decided to do waxing instead like I requested in the first place. I also recommended my mum to go there who was also pushed to get threading done instead of waxing but my mum did not back down on what service she wanted to receive. At first I never paid attention to the cleanliness or lack of at the store because Id just sit down and expect everything to be clean and sanitised after the previous person. However, over time, I started to notice how dirty and hairy their utensils were from customers prior to me and not cleaning in between customers, after someone finished before me and I sat down immediately after. Every single time I went there, I had to ask for them to clean and sanitise the tweezers, scirrors and spoolie from all of the hair. Not to mention, the staff have always been cold and rude, and it never felt like a warm and welcoming environment, often speaking in a foreign langauge in front of customers. Today, the utensils were soo dirty but I didnt think to take a photo of the one at that chair I was sitting at. Pictured below are the utensils from another chair/table in the same store (still dirty but mine was even more disgusting because they use this chair the most for my service). I asked the staff member to clean the utensils which she did and I mentioned that EVERY single time I come here they are NEVER clean and Im not sure how their business is still open. I told her if I come one more time and its dirty they will lose me as a customer (not that they would care). The staff member stayed silent and didnt even apologise!!! She completed the service and after I paid I felt yucky and never want to return. I believe their service is overpriced, especially due to the lack of cleanliness!!! Their people and professional skills are embarrassing. After so many terrible reviews, how is Beauty and Brow still employing the careless women at the Forest Hill branch... it makes the whole company look absolutely terrible! At Forest Hill Chase shopping centre, there is another store on the ground level that can service eyebrows called Vogue Hair & Beauty which I will be going to from now on for $11 cheaper than the Beauty and Brow Parlour. If you want a warm, welcoming, and clean experience, Id STRONGLY recommend AGAINST GOING to the Forest Hill Beauty and Brow Parlour.

My stylist Merry really listened to what I wanted and delivered results even better than I expected. I also appreciated the attention to detail and the high-quality products they use. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all my friends!

1 /5 Sam Qureshi: Hello management, This salon has Very lazy staff. I Went to your salon for full face wax. A Lady (with blonde hair and glasses on) asked $12 extra to wax on my nose(not inside my nose just on my nose) I asked why as I am already paying $55 for full face wax. That lady was in hurry to close salon thats why she turned waxing machine off without completing my wax and she was soo lazy to turned that on again to satisfy customer and upon insisting she agreed to thread on my nose which did not pluck all hair out. ADVICE: 1. If you have non negotiable price list thn, please do not negotiate in the quality of service you are providing. 2. It is very disrespectful to talk infront of customers to your staff in your language.

1 /5 Samantha Dugg: Went in today for my brows to be threaded (no shaping). The worker kept stopping in between doing my eyebrows to gossip about someone else to the other worker (yes I could understand). Then she told me she had done shaping, I finished to see absolutely the tiniest sliver of eyebrow left when I have thick eyebrows. I told her I didn’t ask for this and her reply was, no this looks better for your face. I said ok that’s your opinion but I didn’t ask for it. No apology and no discount. I have been going here for over 6 years but never again. Awful service. Avoid!
