Alana Emma did my bridal hair and make up in May 2022 - as well as my mum, flower girl and four bridesmaids. It was a big day, but Emma was an absolute joy to hang out with and was a beautiful calming presence for me. She is super talented at both hair and make-up, which is a bit of a rarity to find someone who can do both so well! I am so in love with how my hair and make up turned out on the day. I also had a fabulous trial at Emmas home studio, which was a dream. Cant recommend Emma enough!

Light, open, modern decor, with ambient lighting, not too bright, plenty of magazines; coffee and tea are offered even before you can ask. The whole customer experience really works. You get to relax in the hands of highly trained professionals who love what they do, and it shows. The salon has a genuinely friendly vibe, without bias; you cant help feeling pampered. Great basin prep, relaxing massage chair, water just the right temperature, quality products used by lovely staff. Stylist Chi went on to do a fabulous cut. I cant thank him enough! He listened and discussed the cut beforehand. Then was an absolute master with the scissors. The result was a game changer for me! Perfect. Highly recommend.

Adam Pat is an amazing barber! Ive tried several places since moving to the area and they ranged from average to horrific. Im so glad I tried out Benicky at North Turramurra and I havent looked back since! The best professional service youll get anywhere, taking my haircut experience to the next level. Pat always has a friendly ear and is good for a chat, and hes extremely skilled in his art, attentive to my (often vague and ambiguous) description of what Im looking for, does a great quality job, pays attention to the detail, and always goes the extra mile (I love the hot towel at the end). Definitely the best in the North Shore area!

Hamilton Thorley I go to this shop very frequently (every haircut). Every time I go it’s always a very high quality haircut and impeccable service. Patty has been cutting my hair for the past year and not once have I thought anything other than an incredible cut. They listen to concerns and are very helpful with finding your own style that best suits you. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a barber around Sydney.

My hair is very dark brown with grey and Elizabeth always gets my hair to the perfect platinum blonde that I love without any banding! Highly !!! recommended !!! Have been going to THS for over a year but went to another hairdresser (stupidly) for location convenience. Won’t be doing that again. Alexa Carey I loved having my hair done at Hair Studio Turramurra! I booked super last minute after making a spontaneous decision to cut and have a balayage done to my hair. They were so professional, gentle with my thin hair, and relaxed. No one pressured me to buy their expensive products or purchase more treatments and they followed all of my requests. My hair turned out amazing and it didnt take too long either. I was charged such a reasonable price too! Super happy and have recommended them to all of my friends. Jasmine was the lovely woman doing my hair - but all staff seemed lovely and professional! Ill definitely be back!! Edit: Liz did my hair today and I couldnt be happier with the results! sarah harvey A small friendly hairdresser. I generally hate hairdressers but this place is pleasant, quiet and clean. Most places are noisy and stink of hair products, but the door is usually open here. They are efficient, not keeping you waiting hours which i like.

carmel burns I have been going to Barb for over 10 years now. She is amazing at colouring. I was at a wedding in the country and went to a local hairdresser for a wash and blow dry. They kept raving about the fabulous colour job which was done on my hair. Barb has cut my hair in a variety of styles over the years and I always leave feeling great. So a great colourist and an even greater cutter. She is innovative and well aware of the ability of the client to replicate the hair do. Im just worried that she may retire one day. Then where will I be?

ella I was quite unsatisfied with the result of my hair. I had requested a blowout to which I received pin straight hair and a face full of hair spray. When doing my hair the lady said “ blow outs are quite difficult, I can’t quite get them to go the right way ”, clearly illustrating her inability to complete a simple style. Although the workers were very nice I would not recommend coming here!

David and Rosemary Reen The best haircuts by the friendly Russian lady. She works a full day every Thursday and Friday morning. No appointments are necessary. Walk-in customers are welcome. The prices charged are very good. I recommend paying her a visit for a good haircut.
