Moonlight X I had the pleasure of visiting Freskin today, and I couldnt be more impressed. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome with their friendly and attentive service. The clinic itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease. The treatments I received were top-notch, and I could tell that the staff is highly professional and knowledgeable about the services they offer. They took the time to explain each step and make sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Freskin and will definitely be returning for future treatments. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for high-quality skincare services in a welcoming and professional environment!

Priya Subbu I had an extremely disappointing experience at Ruby Room Hornsby. From the moment I arrived, the staff were rude and unwelcoming. My consultant, Riley, was unfriendly and showed no interest in making me feel comfortable. Worse, she openly discussed my skin concerns in the reception area, which was completely unprofessional and a violation of my privacy. The facial itself was underwhelming—I didn’t feel relaxed at all, and Riley seemed disinterested throughout. Ive had facials in Mecca and the consultants there explain and discuss each product they use and they also thoroughly examine my skin before suggesting a treatment. To top it off, I was charged $140 (only reason I booked was they sent me a $25birthday voucher)without being given any post-care instructions. Instead, I received a message much later,( at 1:49pm) long after my appointment had ended. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience here. I previously had a waxing service with Jane, and she was also very unfriendly!. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority at Ruby Room Overall, this was one of the worst facial experiences I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend Ruby Room to anyone looking for professional, respectful and most important of all FRIENDLY service. You go to have a beauty treatment done to relax!

neda dalvi Our first experience there today & loved how welcoming, friendly & professional Tooba was. She did an incredible job with brows threading. Highly recommended. I have heard that Ana & Neda are also good but I have never had personal experiences with them.

Rima E Poor Service & No Accountability I asked clearly not to make my brows too thin, but the staff ignored me completely. When I raised it, she blamed me for having them drawn in. Then, she got the soothing gel in my eye. Total lack of care and professionalism. Won’t be back — and wouldn’t recommend.

Natalie I havent had my lashes done for a couple years due to bad experience at another beauty salon i went to. I thought Ill try again and get them done at allure and crystal is hands down the best lash technician the lashes last so long and dont constantly fall out still look amazing at 2 weeks.

Tiffany Monika is super lovely and did an amazing job on my eyebrows. I have a small scar on my left brow and she was able to easily shape my brows to effortlessly hide it. She also showed me how to use the eyebrow powder and brush and improve my home technique. Highly recommend Jeevi Brow Studio in Hornbsy

Dikshya Rawal I had an amazing experience at Exotic Beauty! The two lovely ladies who helped me with my half head foils were absolutely wonderful. They were so professional, attentive, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the process. Not only did they take the time to understand exactly what I wanted, but they also provided great advice on how to achieve the perfect look. The end result was stunning—I’m so happy with how my hair turned out! Thank you both for your incredible service and for making my visit so enjoyable. Annie edwards Many friends have recommended this place so I was excited to go. Do not go at 4pm as they will rush you and make your nails look horrible. Although lady was really nice the work was not it. The paint job was rushed and the shaping was way off to the photo I wanted and colour. The service was rushed so much I felt so uncomfortable. So disappointing as they were 65 even tho the board said 55. Do not recommend at all stay away next time I will go to a home salon. Their instagram is a total catfish because it looks nothing like their work at all. I hate the nails sm but it’s hard to speak up due to the environment there. My 10 year old cousin could paint better tbh.

ross-anne yumol I’ve been going to the same lash tech for almost 4 years but she is moving too far away and I have been on the hunt for someone local (Wahroonga/Hornsby). I tried most of the places in Westfield and some in Turramurra and even Chatswood but always feel disappointed afterwards, not feeling the want to return. My experience with Lana is different - she is excellent (didn’t feel a thing during lash lift), precise (didn’t hurt any of my lashes which happened a few times with different salons), and is very amiable. I just found my new lash tech! Thanks, Lana!

Audrey Moxom Unfortunately overall not great. The pedicure was very good, originally forgot to turn on the massage part of chair but after asking they did, toe nail polish looks very good I got normal not shellac on the toes. Unfortunately the manicure is where I had issues. The lady who started them cut my hand twice once on the thumb (the nail had slightly grown funny so i understand and don’t blame that) the other cut was on my other hand while she was filing cut the skin didn’t bleed much but did hurt. Another lady then took over for painting the nails and she left nail polish all over my skin around the nails. Photos are taken less than a minute after leaving nail salon. I know I should have said something for them to fix and it’s on me but for a location advertising under new management not a great start especially since this cost me $90. I had a pedicure with normal polish and a manicure with shellac that includes an extra $5 for “mermaid polish” I would not go back there again unfortunately.

Online Mom Have been going to this salon for my nails for almost a year and am very happy with their service- friendly, clean, efficient and they do an excellent job. Previous salon: I switched from another salon in Hornsby where I was a patron for 11 years because every time I made an appointment I was kept waiting for ages (often upto half an hour). Pearl Nails is excellent and they honour appointment times. I highly recommend this salon.

Bianca Driscoll Got a pedicure. They wanted to charge an extra $20 on top of the $55 pedicure for special magnetic or metallic shellac colours. Other places don’t charge extra or it’s a maximum of $10 - so $20 shocked me. The lady who performed the foot prep was lovely, best leg & foot massage I’ve come across whilst getting a pedicure, was very meticulous at removing the cuticles. Was impressed & happy with that part. The man who did the painting of the nails did a pretty sloppy job; the polish went up into the cuticle area so the liquid bunched & looks very cheap & tacky. Unfortunately won’t be going back due to the negative parts of my experience.
