My daughter and I came here to get Gel Mani and Pedi. First off I thought manicure means they will remove your dead cuticles. But they didn’t.
So they did our Feet first, whilst we showed them what design we want for our hands.
My daughter just want plain black and white with stars on it, they say it will cost her $105. Too expensive for a star being drawn so nah, just changed to plain color.
For me, I showed them a photo (first pic) I asked can you do it? She said yes yes $85.
She comes to me showing these powders she’s gonna use on my nails. She also showed me two types of glitters to choose from. I chose the finer one.
I thought, how is she gonna do it? So when the time comes she will do my fingernails, she puts on tips then puts on these glitters. While she’s at it, I figure this is not what I am expecting, my daughter says maybe I just trust the process. LOOK at the second photo, I don’t think trusting the process will get me there. So while she was doing the other hand I said, I wanted exactly the same as the photo. And she said I chose the glitter. Well, of course, you ask me to choose?!
And she proceeds to remove them whilst speaking her language. I think she’s Vietnamese. Her name was Ann or so I was told. She just keeps yapping for a whole 5mins I think and she’s being rough on my hands now. You can definitely feel she’s mad.
I am with my daughter so I’m trying to contain my annoyance. So before she put on the gel again, I said can you do this? Showing her the photo. Exactly like this? The lady beside her said ‘uhm close to that” So I said “No, just make it French tips “ It was clear she can’t before, so I just surrender.
Then the moment I was paying, I was charged extra for the removal of the first glittered gel she put on me! I asked why am I being charged for that, it was clearly not what I wanted. She said “oh because she says you chose that color.” Then I told her yeah because she asks me to choose between two glitter gels. I know she wouldn’t back down so I paid for it anyway.
I paid a total of $272.97 for me and my daughter’s mani pedi. Unsatisfied since we both didn’t get what we want and the staff makes it look like our fault we are unhappy.
