Alex Chetia Marie is an incredibly talented and kind individual. She took such tremendous care when doing my lash extensions and I felt really comfortable the whole time. She also has a lovely space set up in her apartment. The lashes elevated my natural look rather than looking obviously artificial, which I appreciated. I highly recommend her!

Jule Wehlte Sylvie is amazing at what she does and so welcoming! I got a lash lift and brow lamination. My eyebrows are quite uneven and she really took the time to ensure to make them look even. My eyes water easily so previous lash lifts I got at other places weren’t able to hold as well. Sylvie was the first one to get them up quickly so the water wouldn’t impact the lift. I’ll definitely come back!

Crazy Comet When I recently moved office I was a bit worried about finding a decent hair dresser (ok weird for a guy). I need not have worried. The owner at sheado immediately understood what I wanted with minimal instruction. A number of people commented positively on the result. In addition Sheado is cheaper than what I was paying at my previous location.

Junghenn Samuel I always find the staff at Sheado happy and friendly. I usually book my appointments and they always seem to run very close to time unlike some places I have been to in the past. Hair cuts are cheap and I can always get in and out quickly which is important. Highly recommended!

Leanne He I booked Natalie based on a glowing recommendation from my colleague. She is usually fully booked, I managed to secure an appointment on a Monday morning. I had a (very thorough) extraction facial, Omnilux and (heavenly) shoulder and scalp massage. I like how calm my face was after the extraction, minimal redness. Natalie also made some ingredients-based recommendations on my skin care routine, without any judgement or sales pitch. She’s a pro! Overall, it was quite a relaxing and enjoyable experience, highly recommend!

Katerina A I’ve been to Seir Beauty School many times. It’s always hit and miss. I had positive experiences with two students Erina and Nancy. Their admin team is horrible. In October 2023 I requested a refund $150 for the services that they failed to provide. Their staff member Jackie informed me on 7th November 2023 that my refund had been passed onto their accounts team. It’s been 3+ months and I still haven’t received the refund.

Ekta Chauhan I’ve been visiting this place for almost three years to get my eyebrows done, often scheduling my appointments when Sanaz is on shift because she always does an amazing job. However, my experience on March 1st was extremely disappointing and painful. I had an important event to attend and trusted that any professional at this store would be equally skilled and careful with my skin. Priya B, who was working that day, gave me the worst eyebrow threading I’ve ever had. She cut my skin multiple times, leaving it bleeding, and showed no concern when I pointed it out. Instead of being careful, she continued using the thread over the wounded area, making it worse. To make matters worse, she was rushing through the service while attending to two customers at once, despite my appointment being booked in advance. I usually wouldn’t mind, but when it leads to carelessness and injury, it’s completely unacceptable. By the time I got home, my skin was burning, irritated, and too painful to even apply a mild lotion. I had to miss my event because of the discomfort, and the wounds took over a week to heal. A business that offers beauty services should ensure that all staff members are properly trained and professional. If someone isn’t skilled enough, they shouldn’t be working on customers’ skin. I expected much better from this place, but this experience has made me seriously reconsider coming back. Happy to share pictures if it helps.

She is thorough, patient, and very gentle at threading and always listens to my requests for shaping my eyebrows. She also washes her hand prior to threading my face, which is a huge plus for me as I am very sensitive/prone to breakouts. I highly recommend this place!

I have stayed away from them because my skin is sensitive and reacts to most lotions used by beauticians. Fields of Beauty lotions were wonderful and my face felt amazing for weeks after. I decided to give their hairdressers a go. Down to earth, exceptional cut, listens to the client, and in the beautiful atmosphere of Fields of Beauty. Suzie is an wonderful hairdresser and more people should know about her and this place. Thank you for all your wonderful services.

Claire Levisohn Had my first visit there today following a recommendation from a friend. Suzie was delightful. Listened to me and suggested a couple of options, both for colour (Im going very grey) and cut. Salon was peaceful; easy to read my book and the provided magazines. Suzie was just the right amount chatty and quiet. The end result is great. Probably the best colour Ive had for years. The cut is fab too. Very happy. Will definitely return. Extra bonus is that right next door is a great cafe, fab coffee and great breakkie and lunch menu. A gold star!!

Katherine Chen Very disappointing experience! I’ve visited this shop a few times before and was satisfied with their pedicure service, which is why I booked with them today for a manicure removal. However, shortly after we started, the older lady hurt the skin around my nails. I asked her to be gentle since these were my natural nails, despite knowing there were layers, I still felt burning and discomfort as she used a rough nail drill. Not only did she fail to apologize after cutting my skin with the drill, but she also ignored my request to clean the wound right away to avoid infection. When I instinctively pulled my finger back due to the pain, she brushed it off and told me not to worry. I couldn’t help but wonder if she realized she was serving a customer and should respect my concerns, which she clearly did not. Midway through, another staff member took over to finish the removal and informed me the price was $25 because my manicure was harder to remove, which I accepted. However, when the service was complete, the older lady told me the total was $30 because they had shaped my nails, something they never informed me would cost an extra $5. This charge was only mentioned after the service, which I found unacceptable. Overall, I’m very disappointed with this entire experience and most likely won’t go back anymore!

Ning Teoh I went in with green nails (as photo shown with 3 weeks regrowth) came out with short nails both hands uneven length and uncleaned colour around my fingers. I asked for a little bit shorter. The nail tech trimmed one finger, she showed me and it looked fine. I said its okay. She finished my right hand and they looked okay but when she finished my left, they were all short. Both side were uneven. Throughout the process I addressed her both hands are not the same length she didnt say a word back and kept rushing through the whole process. Once she finished the nail the first thing she did was reached out to the phone. These are all my real nails. It took me ages to maintain them. Ive had long nails for years. Ive had bad nails done but never left with short nails. I know businesses are going through tough time, it should gives them even more reason to keep up a good standard. Rushing without checking, care for clients feeling and the result are unacceptable. The worst part was there were no clients waiting. When I was at the counter I told the nail tech about the issue instead of owning up her mistake she made excuses. I told her she shouldve said sorry and try to fix it. That was the time she offered to even the length and apologize. She gave me $10 discount as an apology. I mean....... I rather pay more to have nice nails! I dont need the discount. Im so disappointed with this place. I went there once before and I thought it was decent for the price but I was so wrong!

Jessica Larum Pretty disappointed with my experience. I was charged $75 for BIAB infills and one very small not detailed nail art that looked nothing like my inspo pic, which is significantly more expensive than I have paid anywhere else. I told the tech I thought a manicure would be good and she said it wasnt necessary, even though I felt it was. the shape is uneven and the consistency of the polish isnt even. I have had my nails done once a month for probably 15 years and this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Only came because I wanted to try and get my nails done before holidays to save time as it was close to work and the other places close by were very busy. Wouldnt go back.

Sara M I went in last week for the first time for a shellac manicure. The shave down was hot but not too bad thought I suspect they shaved down too much and my next session will be painful. Staff were pleasant however end result was less than desirable. Colour is uneven at best, nail length aren’t all even, worst is that my thumb has a piece of debris painted into it (cuticle cutting was good). I didn’t complain as I didn’t have time to sit thought a fix. Cost was $15 more than salons at Greenwood Plaza just across the street. Will go back there next time.

It’s very cheap, my friend got a full set of acrylics which looked so good *photos below* and it was very fast. They were exactly how she wanted them. the lady also gave me a foot and hand massage too! Highly recommend.

I got shellac toes done by Tin and he did such a thorough job my feet feel clean and my nails are really well done. He also put some hardener on my finger nails and that was great too. Macey Leech This place is so expensive! They charged me for long nails when they are the normal length i always get. They said it $15 extra for long nails when I have never been charged that much. They also fell off after 6 days. I normally have nails on for 2 and a half weeks to 3 weeks. Do not come here to get nails done. Go to chatswood!

The receptionist told her there’d be a wait, and the woman said she was happy to wait and would go get a coffee. But just seconds later, she was taken straight to a chair and started getting her nails done, while I was still waiting. I ended up leaving and went to Professionails nearby instead, and they were so much friendlier

Claudia Castañeda Awful work. My daughter and I did our nails there, and just two days after, my daughters nails were broken, mine on the third day. We asked for a refund and they denied it. The manager said they do not guarantee their nails even though we were told it with last a minimum of three weeks. At the end the manager kicked us out of the business. We also were concerned about the tools they used as they didnt clean them. Unfortunately by the time we noticed it was too late.

Mari Ryan Way too expensive for the service provided. Went for a pedicure which cost $40, more than what I pay elsewhere but thought it might be a job well done. The pedicure was painful, with the technician jabbing under the nail with the sharp tool excessively. Nothing was done to remove hard skin, when I asked her to do so, she and the owner said it would cost $5 extra. I explained how ridiculous this was, to charge extra for something that should be standard in an already overly expensive service, and also, there was nothing on the price list of that being extra, so I felt pretty scammed for them to try add an extra charge without this being on the list. Ill need to go elsewhere for a proper pedicure soon, on principle I could not pay extra for a job poorly done. I will not be back.

Jesinta Lee Dropped in to get an express pedicure for the first time and I will never return. The person who served me doesn’t seem to know what she was doing - she did not use any alcohol before the gel coat and I had to remind her before she said she missed a step. How can you miss this when you do it day in day out? Next - I asked to try 2 colours. She applied the gel base coat on me and my chosen colours. After I picked the one I wanted, she proceed to use a tissue paper not soaked in acetone but a dry piece of paper to wipe off the colour and proceed to paint my nails like this was usual, no re-application of base coat and my toe felt sticky. She was chatting away to her colleagues without a care in the world. I don’t think my pedicure will last. Avoid at all costs. These places ought to be shut down with the kind of service they provide with staffs who don’t care.

Koko Durant I went to Professional Nails to get a infill, and everything seemed fine at first. However, a day later, one of my nails chipped. I was only able to return a week later due to my schedule. When I arrived, not only were they rude and slow to attend to me, but after hearing it was just one nail, they refused to fix it. They even claimed their next available time slot was 30 mins, which was clearly untrue. It was only one nail, and they didn’t want to bother fixing it. The nails were poor quality, and the service was terrible. I do not recommend this place! it’s one of the worst nail experiences I’ve ever had. *In response: Thank you for your response. Of course, I left! No one offered to take my name or contact details, or offered me a seat to wait. Upon arriving, I was acknowledged by a staff member, but it took an additional five minutes before anyone asked how they could assist me. This level of service is disappointing, and using Christmas as an excuse does not seem reasonable. Given that your business primarily operates on walk ins, it’s clear that there needs to be a more efficient system in place. I was recommended to your nail salon, but unfortunately, my nail broke quickly and there was significant chipping. I work in an office environment, so my nails were not exposed to any conditions that could cause damage. While the service was more affordable, it ultimately wasn’t worth it, as I now need to go elsewhere to repair the damage, which will incur additional costs. Honestly, save yourself the time and just go elsewhere.
