E rika Kurumi has extensive experience in both Japan and Australia. The salon offers a private space where you are the only customer, and Kurumi handles everything from shampooing to styling. She is also excellent with mens haircuts, always leaving my partners hair looking perfect!! Even though I live in the Eastern Suburbs, I make the journey of an hour each way because its absolutely worth it. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a great hair stylist.

Michaela Franz This has been one of my favourite haircuts ever! Kurumi was delightful and helped me decide on the perfect hairstyle when I was unsure myself. The salon is smaller so you feel like you’re getting a VIP treatment. The haircut looks great :) I highly recommend!

She knows how how curls work, how to shape your hair to get buoyancy and showed me how to style it and gave me some great tips on caring for curls. She has curly hair so really understands it. Carla Fournier After not dying my hear for nearly 18 months it was time to fresh it up. To be fair, my hair is naturally curly, so when you brush it dry, goes crazy, however the after photo is with the colour and styled. The service was outstanding including Toffu (although he was not feeling his best) If you are looking for a great place, look no more. The price was also excellent!!

Jason Simes Just saw Immad at Crows Nest. To have my son’s hair cut we paid 50 dollars for the cut, and were skipped directly to the haircut, we had to remind Immad, aren’t you going to wash his hair, he did but seemed a bit annoyed about being asked. Everything else seemed fine, we didn’t have anything to drink I was offered. But between my son and my partner they had two packets of sample size chips left on the table and I was surprised to be charged 11 dollars for this. Citing he has to charge me else he will get in trouble from his boss. First time was great this was our second and last time.

Srima McQuillan After about 5 years of chronically bad haircuts, I decided to try Mozarts. I have curly hair that isnt uniformly curly and is difficult to cut. I gave the usual chat to a new hairdresser and Leah listened very patiently (although I am guessing she probably thought I was a bit looney). After I finished my mini-speech, she chatted with me about her ideas for my hair and her opinion on why other styles hadnt worked in the past. She looked at my curls and worked with them instead of against them. I left with a cute bob that works for both curly and straight hair days. She also covered those pesky grey hairs and made them match my natural hair. It is a miracle, I am actually SUPER happy with my hair. Thanks.

Federico Gattone I’ve been looking for a barber shop like this for years! Gian is such a character, super welcoming, very professional and experienced, a proper Italian style barber. He was able to notice the defects of my former haircut and talked me through the options. Really good beard shaping too. I got out of there very satisfied and confident. A great service for a decent price too. For the first time in years I felt like I didn’t spend $80 to get my head butchered. Highly recommended and definitely making Antica Barberia my regular barber shop from now on.

I had a treatment pre-booked, and Devina suggested that this time we better do a hair length treatment rather than scalp (which we did last time and I noticed significant improvement). I had very pleasant head massage, followed by haircut. I asked Devina if we can do a curly blow dry and pin some of the hair away from the face, as I had an event to attend that evening. And she did amazing job! My hair style was absolutely adorable. I highly recommend Devina, as she always gives valuable hair care tips, selects suitable treatments and she listens all the client requests and suggests options.

I found this insulting as a client of 3 years who had never even been late for an appointment, let alone missed one. Clearly this man is not interested in forming relationships with his clients, its all about the money. Mine will be spent elsewhere.

Deja Bednarz I’d be wary…. My boyfriend went to this buisness as a first time customer on Monday. He was charged full price and left with an unfinished and uneven haircut. When he came home it was so uneven and unfinished that he has had to completely shave his head to entirely regrow his hair. He won’t be returning.
