Emme Jenna gave me a wonderful hair cut and a gorgeous colour with face-framing highlights that I love and which have grown out brilliantly. I love the sustainable and cruelty-free ethics of the salon and the whole experience was relaxing and luxurious for an extremely reasonable price. Looking forward to coming again!

Denise Zlotowski Dario is an exceptional hairdresser and I’m so glad to be back in his chair. He first did my hair many years ago — always with beautiful, reliable results — and after a very disappointing experience at another salon earlier this year, I was relieved to find him again at his own salon in Manly. Dario and his team are warm, professional, and genuinely care about the health of your hair. I appreciate the natural approach he takes — enhancing rather than overprocessing. After recently starting medication that left my hair dry, he recommended a keratin treatment that made a real difference. For the first time in months, I walked out of a salon feeling confident and happy with my hair again. Highly recommend.

Sean Hopkins Great! It’s always a good sign when you walk into a salon and hear someone exclaiming “wow this is amazing, so great” about their styling! From start to finish the team were welcoming and friendly, and the salon is well equipped and stylish with a view to relax even the most hungover client, the upbeat tunes provide an authentic, energising sound track! Top notch. The haircut was great as well, it was a rescue job since the last cut I got elsewhere, and my stylist approached the job with the care and attention of an artist at an easel, and understood exactly what I wanted! Will definitely be back!

Sabine Moore I’ve been going to Dario since the moment he arrived in Sydney (8 yrs now?!). I believe he’s the best, he makes me look good, and I’ve a lot of hair which isn’t easy to style. The products he uses are great too. I trust him with my hair. Highly highly recommended him!

Krista (Krista) Have had the best experience getting my hair straightened here. I’ve done both a permanent and a de frizz and have loved both! Izzi is so wonderful and an expert at evaluating your hair type and matching it with the right treatment and solution. Using non tonic products is also super important to me which is why I’ve continue to come back as her treatment doesn’t damage my hair and actually makes it healthier. Would 100% recommend! It’s more than worth the price to have easy to manage hair and has made my life so much easier during hot summers when I don’t want to spend hours styling my hair.

Ashlee Lauren Izzy is amazing, I have been to so many salons and had every straightening treatment under the sun from nanoplasty to keratin, none have compared to my recent treatment at lomax. My hair feels the best and is the straightest it’s ever been! Best thing I’ve ever done! I have blonde frizzy/course hair and got the nanoplasty done and it has just made my day to day life so much easier. Can’t recommend her highly enough.

Lucinda Shanahan Izzi at Lomax hair is the only person I will ever trust to do my semi-permanent smoothing treatment! As somebody who has fine curly and blonde coloured hair, I have been getting various keratin/smoothing treatments to combat my frizz for over 15 years and my hair has never been so healthy and smooth than when it’s in the hands of Izzi. When I first came in to see Izzi at Lomax, my hair was damaged and in recovery mode from being burnt/fried by another salon’s treatment. I was nervous to put my hair through another smoothing treatment after the prior damage, but Izzi is amazing and I walked out with such smooth hair and it’s already feeling so much healthier and requiring little to no heat! A gorgeous little salon too where you are so well looked after through the whole experience with Izzi.

Jessica Shepherd I have been coming to Hannah for 2 years, she’s hands down the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. She listens carefully, looks after her clients and never fails to do a stunning job. I have recommended her to friends and the feedback is always consistent, 10/10!

chili brown Hannah did the most amazing job on my hair!!! Its pretty rare for a hair dresser to accomplish EXACTLY what you wanted and I’m just so stoked! I haven’t had my hair done in years and when I found out Hannah uses all natural products and lower ammonia bleach i re-considered my long hiatus from the hair dresser. Highly, highly recommend! I’ve never gotten so many compliments about my hair in my whole life. Thank you Hannah! You are truely the best.

Anthony actually listens to what you want and also suggests improvements if it will improve your look. alex Wilson FAST FOILS! I have no spare time. Two young kids, full-time work etc etc. Amir gets it. I usually come in for half or a full head (collarbone length) of highlights and a cut and blow dry. Done in 1.5-2 hours. Unreal. Looks and feels perfect every time. Thanks Amir

I did an online research for the best hairstylist in Manly and Amirs business came up at the top. My experience with this salon was outstanding and very refreshing. It was a work of art and i loved the service from start to finish. It was therapeutic, relaxing and the way they engaged with me put my mind at ease. Lisa Morgan Every time I leave Jun’s salon, I know the hair style will hold its shape until well after my next appointment. I look good and I feel good because not only does Jun cut exceptionally well but he asks questions and he checks in with my styling preferences. I am low maintenance and uninterested in complex styling regimes, so he cuts my hair to fit the brief that suits my lifestyle. I have enjoyed many different styles since 2016 with Jun and I am used to women stopping me to ask where I get my hair done. Even with very short hair, Jun will work subtly with his craft to make me feel like a new woman. Can’t recommend Jun enough.

Vladi B. Worst haircut. The hairdresser has no idea how to cut hair. The transitions are terrible. The proportion of the hair was not maintained. Then he wanted to randomly thin out the hair until I stopped him. He had to correct something twice because I pointed out the mistakes. All this for 50$. Now I have to go back to another hairdresser next week.

Daniella Adamek I just wanted to leave a review & to say a big thank you to Charlotte and Holly who did my hair and make up on my wedding day. I could not have been more happy with it - and had so many comments that they’d never seen my hair look so good (it’s notoriously bad to hold any kind of curl). It was a 29 degrees day and my make up didn’t even need a touch up it stayed on so well. I was nervous getting ready and they both helped to make the morning a super relaxed vibe. Highly recommend for anybody wanting event hair and make up!

Rnya Hermes My recent experience at Mane Space Manly was appalling, especially considering Ive been a loyal customer since February. After a hair color treatment in mid-November failed to hold, I returned, willing to pay for a correction. Instead of resolving the issue, the staff turned my hair black, not the usual brown. When I calmly requested a fix, the owner intervened with an incredibly rude and dismissive attitude. She degraded me in front of everyone, washed out my hair, and told me not to return. This happened despite my long history of over 50 visits without a single issue, and the staff reassuring me there was no problem. Her behavior was not only unacceptable but also highly unprofessional, especially as I had already booked my wedding appointments with them. To add insult to injury, I had to spend a significant amount of money elsewhere to get the black color lifted and my hair restored. The owners approach was not only rude and embarrassing but also undermined the hard work of her talented staff. I wouldnt recommend this salon to anyone seeking reliable service and respectful treatment.
