Karine Gouriou I have been going to Linh for about 20 years. Throughout the years I moved to different locations but I always went back to her. I love the way she cut, style and texturise my hair and I haven’t found someone who does it as well as she does (for me anyway). The head massage is also lovely. Excellent service. For me, she’s the best hair dresser! I Highly recommend!

Helen Simpson Linh and her team at Sixth Sense hair and nail spa celebrate 20 years of extraordinary customer service next month. Despite having gone there for probably 19 of these 20 years, the service I get is always exceptional. It’s always a pleasure to visit the salon. I love the customer service, head massage, freshly made tea, smiles and chatter. Linh is an amazing hair stylist, and has worked all over the world, she is especially amazing with tricky hair. They also offer nail and beauty care. Well done ladies. Keep up the amazing work for another 20 years!!! Look forward to celebrating next month with you all xx

Alison Rodericks I’ve been going to Sixth Sense to get my hair cut by Lihn, the owner of the salon, off and on for about 15 years now. I always love my haircut that looks stylish, the relaxing scalp massage when they wash my hair, and the little additions like freshly brewed loose leaf tea. Highly recommend!

Deborah Nelson I had SNS at this nail salon two weeks ago. My nails were strong, now they’re destroyed. When I called and spoke to the owner, she said that she does not do refunds. My nails are now destroyed. They are breaking in the middle, tearing on the sides. Two days after they had been done, the SNS popped off. The manner in which I was addressed by the one nail technician, deplorable, rude and like it was my fault. Giving them one star is quite gracious.

Yuka I was very disappointed with the quality of the nails for the price. I ended up paying $100 for SNS extension and I asked for round nails. They 1) gave me oval nails and 2) there are clear gaps between the actual nails and the extension for some. The SNS is also super thick and looks like blobs of whiteout on the nails. I’m getting these removed and redone ASAP, but disappointed for wasting $100 (normally pay $85 for my usual place in Northbridge which delivers much higher quality nails).

Juliet Taylor The website says they can do lash lift and tint for $85. I tried to book online and it would only let me book the lash tint. I called to check whether they could offer a lift and tint like the website describes and the lady I spoke to on the phone said they definitely could - I triple checked with her as I did it want to make the trip for nothing. She said that I should book online for the tint only and ask for the lift in person when I arrived for my appointment. She said there would be absolutely no trouble with this. Naturally when I arrived they said that the lady on the phone was wrong and that they can only offer a tint. The staff were very nice and I appreciate that it wasn’t their fault, but it was still a massive waste of time for me and I feel like I made every effort to avoid this happening. They also did not really apologise, they just said that I or the lady I spoke to must have misunderstood something. TLDR: wouldn’t trust what they have on their website or what they say over the phone. Lovely and friendly people though.
