Lake Matthew (Rhune92) Peter Low Reserve Park is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The park is well-maintained, with a large grass area that is perfect for picnics and outdoor games. The park also has some seating with tables for visitors to relax and enjoy a picnic. The parks thoughtful placement of bins makes it easy for visitors to keep the area clean and tidy. One of the highlights of Peter Low Reserve Park is the childrens play equipment, which provides plenty of entertainment options for young visitors. The playground is well-designed and includes a variety of equipment such as swings, slides, and climbing frames. Overall, Peter Low Reserve Park is an excellent spot for families, friends, and individuals to spend some quality time in nature. The parks combination of open green spaces, seating, and exciting childrens play equipment make it great as a morning picnic area.

James P The play equipment isnt suitable for young children. Not bad for 7 or 8 and older.

george makrigiannis Big open park with a playground for kids. The owner issue is the park isnt on a level block. The land is very slanted so not ideal for ball games. Dogs can be left off lead and no bathroom facilities.

Meek Acumen Good and bad. It has got clean toilets which are opened for the public, the kids playground is enclosed for kids safety which is good. There is also very close and easy access parking. Gas BBQ is also provided with bins as well to keep the place clean. The basketball courts are a joke. They dont even have proper lines and there is tree branches hanging down too which get in the way. The rings have no nets or damaged nets. There is only one picnic table for the whole park, the batting area roof is collapsing and needs repair. There is a tree near the toilets which is jam packed full of bees. There is also ants near the bench seats. I sat down for 30 seconds and looked down to see 1000 ants on my shoes. Its a nice quiet atmosphere, it looks like there is a new function centre for community use, Im pretty sure thats where all the money allocated for the park has been spent. Only stayed for about 5min. After the ants episode and also the thousands of small bugs around plus the bees, There was nothing here to enjoy.

M 77 Coached netball here. Good courts. Toilets good. After rain though the ground around the court gets really muddy and yucky. But otherwise a nice, clean park. Parking available including disabled parking.
