Behrooz Sangani At first glance, it seems like an ordinary rock, but a closer look reveals its striking resemblance to a dinosaur’s head—a prehistoric surprise sculpted by nature itself.

Peter Tazzyman Set on expansive grounds in the leafy Lane Cove River area, its hard to believe that a school can cover so much real estate. I find it difficult to understand how the students could learn anything with a plane flying over every 5 minutes or so. Also, a school with its own observatory

Jason Seebaluck Our dog loves this park. Always friendly dogs around in the neighbourhood. Tends to be smaller dogs. Lots of space to run around. Beautiful walk around the school grounds or bush trail. However these are leaded. There is also a secret beach, secluded, great for those swimmers!

Jenny Came here for a dog date! The park is small but you can let your dog off leash, so our dogs loved it here! It was a pretty quiet park, but had picnic tables, bbq facilities and a kids playground. I think there was also a walking track towards the water, but I didn’t go down there so I’m not sure. There are multiple options for parking, both on the street and also in the small parking lot.

Nora Ta Nice to take kids on a bush walk. It has small playground that my 2 year old enjoyed. Just requires more picnic seating areas as it can get a bit muddy after rain especially near the playground.

William Melo Nice place to bring the kids to play or pets to run around. Another option is to hire a kayak at the bay and enjoy. Good for stand up paddle also.

Kylie Sherwood A lovely area to use the flying fox, go for a walk. Feed the ducks or hire a kayak. Dog lovers enjoy the off leash oval and the boat ramp for a quick dip in the water.

Jamtia Great place to paddle mostly calm water. You do get the free people that suit over the 8 knots and a one or two of young ones that will attempt to knock you off your board by speeding past.

An Maro Lots of places to run and trees to climb. Love the busy walks at either end of the reserve. Sports fields in use on weekends and dogs off leash at other times- prone to a bit of flooding and super soggy after wet weather. Parking is minimal in bays and on the streets which gets packed out on weekends sports. Boat ramp makes it more busy too. Bus stops along Riverview street, or walk 5mins from burns bay rd. Canoe rental available here too.

Tom Brown Nice open area for dogs to run, poo bags available, generally friendly dogs!
