3.Woolwich Lookout

Address: 4 Clarke Rd, Woolwich NSW 2110

Imges Woolwich Lookout

(101) Reviews Woolwich Lookout:

Jessica Li Magnificent view!! Highly recommended for a casual walk during good weather days, today was too windy, but still the view is extraordinary. Such a lovely local waterfront reserve to hangout with family and friends, walk around or just sit on a bench a chill. Maybe, when it’s not that windy in a sunny day, it would be an ideal wedding venue for sure! - Plenty of parking spaces here and it is pet friendly.

Alice Moon-Star Interesting historical site, the 188 metre length Woolwich dock was opened in 1901 and features a great walkway and rocky outcrops. There was a number of interesting boats and one rusted wreak which adds to the historic charm.

Dhiraj Kumar Masodgi Nice point for visit. Bus timings are after half an hour. Near by you will find many points for viewing. Have a feeling all around. Hunters hill sailing club is located near by. For Woolwich lookout bay you need to for a long walk around from place where bus drops you. Few hotels are located where you get down from bus.

Jeremy YEN I imagine this location will provide a decent view of the fireworks during the new year, but on a regular day the view is rather average.

Jonathan Clakhurst The great North Walk is fantastic to break up into chunks and do with friends. The woolwich section is full of interesting historical components and just a nice walk on a spring day. There are better parts to the walk but you should do them all

5.The Goat Paddock

Address: 1 Gale St, Woolwich NSW 2110

Imges The Goat Paddock

(49) Reviews The Goat Paddock:

Filip Rowecki The paddock itself is nothing special. The ship docks caved in the stone are very unique. You may even see some impressive boats.

ShaKa - The Independent Thinker Nice place for a walk. Small ground, no big playground. Seems ok with dogs on leash or obedient dogs free. Good scenery and harbour views. Nice upmarket restaurant nearby. Walking tracks Safe during good sunlight hours. Plenty of parking available in the street. Good for a picnic, too.

Sylvia Liu Enjoyed the coastal walk along the path with beautiful views of the Sydney CBDs skyline from afar. The walk gives our whole body and mind a gentle workout as the terrain is not flat but should be manageable by most people. The ocean breeze is refreshing, and the people (mostly locals) met along the way are warm and friendly. The natural ledge that hugs right above the cove of the shipyard where all the subatantial sailing boats are docked looked handsome and impressive. It is about 5500 steps for a round trip walk with different terrains.

C Stuart (BKK) Nice peaceful park with views of the harbour and city

6.Weil Park

Address: Weil Park Scout and Community Hall, Woolwich NSW 2110

Imges Weil Park

(58) Reviews Weil Park:

david mitchell A fine park that is a tribute to the management skills of Hunters Hill Council. Plenty of room to through a frisbee or kick a football on this weel grassed surface. Some quality landscaping on street fron with native plants and also a new-ish street library. Plenty of street parking.

Amir Shay Very nice and calming place. Love it

A Park Abundant parking around the park (surprisingly) and play area for kids is great. Only downside is the slopes surrounding two of four sides of this park, so be vigilant to give chase when your football veers to those ends.

Beatrix Leung Nice park that is part of a trail that is dog friendly

Sam C Absolutely gorgeous park with a play area and beautiful field to walk around. Really nice breeze around here and call fresh air in a very quiet area because the street right in front is a quiet street and a quiet location therefore it is a beautiful Park
