Charlotte We live about an hour away so dont get here often but always enjoy it when we do. The playground has so many activities for the kids and lots of climbing opportunities. The bush walk down to the water is a great explore and extends our time here. I just wish there was more shade in the playground.

Georges Younes Oatley Park is remarkable because of the variety of activities and spots that are on offer. If you seek to bring your family for a picnic, there are areas, tables and BBQs. If you want to swim, theres a large area that is protected with a net. If you just want to hike, there are many paths that will take you around the park. The park also allows cars access and provides several parking areas. You can leave your car at the entrance parking lot and hike down or drive to several others lots that are situated in various corners of the park. One of the best assets of this park is that its never too busy. You can always find a quiet corner if this is what you prefer.

Oz Khan It is an amazing park, with lots of history and native bush, which makes you feel like it is in a jungle. There is a soccer field, a cricket field, a playground, a castle, scenic walks, and the Oatley Baths. There is plenty of place to picnic and play, and it is very scenic. There are also two lookouts and a drive, an excellent place to go relax on the weekend.

Sean If you look closely you’ll see the endangered shopping trolley in an unfamiliar territory as it try’s to hide from predators as it camouflages it’s self as best it can

Steven Kratsas A park

Nick Geoghegan Nice park. Could do with a little more T&C to make it really special.

Hayley Dean A delightful bush walk thats both beautiful and easy to do. There are a few access points to reach the reserve, we parked on River road near the old bowling club. Such a great walk to do with young kids too. My toddler absolutely thrived. Its one of those spots where you cant believe you are in the heart of Sydney suburbia because this is such lush bush land. A true locals secret and another of Sydneys Secret places. Enjoy the vegetation as its home to some threatened wildlife and plant communities. The reserve & wetlands are one of the most significant nature areas in the Hurstville local government area which is why so many locals are passionate about protecting/preserving it.

Tony DAmbra Small pleasant corner park in a quiet leafy location with well maintained playground and picnic tables. Idyllic in Autumn. Very Quiet and green with benches in sun and under trees.

Murray Great little park with lots of kids play equipment and swings

Chris Cute little park I use to take my kids here when they were toddlers which is what this park really caters for although my kids still like to stop here for nostalgia ☺️. Downside though is there are no toilet facilities or a tap to get water from.

Marg Enn A lovely park with plenty of shade and wonderful play equipment especially for the smaller children. A couple of table sets and some park benches. Great for the picnic blankets as well. Room to kick a ball around. Just around the corner , a short walk from the park is a lovely coffee shop, One 2 One Cafe for your take away coffee.

Imges Oatley Memorial Gardens

(39) Reviews Oatley Memorial Gardens:

Leonie Pacini This area is basically a large, green space. There is a War Memorial and gazebo at one end and a childrens playground at the other. A couple of park benches scattered here and there & some netball hoops. It is immaculately kept and always regularly mowed by the council.
3 /5
Craig Lovely spot to sit with a coffee and watch the world go by. Grab a gourmet pie from Oatley pie shop just across the road. Oasis in the heart of suburbia
4 /5
Kerry Ryan A group of four people met for a picnic at Oatley on 23 September after many weeks of lockdown. Weather was perfect and there were lots of small groups enjoying fresh air and sunshine.
5 /5
Michael A park built upon the old Oatley railway station and tracks. Good place to walk the dogs, outdoor playground for the kids and a fenced playground for the little kids. A memorial for our soldiers, lest we forget.
5 /5
Teresa M Disgusting. The grass is not looked after at all, absolutely full of bindis. There is no path or fence around the outside. People have worn a dirt trail at the bottom because there is no ramp access from the station.
