1 /5 Roberto Fausti: Stay away. My experience with Anytime Fitness Leichhardt, and especially with James, the club manager, was extremely disappointing. When I signed up, James was more focused on replying to his phone messages than on properly explaining the membership contract. It felt rushed, careless and far from professional. I trusted that I was joining on a fixed-term basis, but later I discovered it was actually an ongoing contract with a six-month minimum.
When I tried to cancel, James and the club immediately enforced the 30-day notice period, with absolutely no flexibility or understanding of the situation. Instead of feeling supported as a customer, I felt misled and ignored. The lack of transparency and professionalism is unacceptable.
A gym should be about well-being, trust and respect for its members. Unfortunately, this place showed me the opposite. If you value honesty and customer care, do yourself a favour: stay far away from this element.
